Just like the Daniel’s story which teaches us about the promises and faithfulness of God, even if we are faced with death and feel like everything has been lost, the story you are about to read is not just deliverance from lions, but this time, God uses the lions to rescue Christians who were attacked for their faith in Jesus Christ.

Pastor Paul Ciniraj, director of Bibles for Mideast, tells the story of how he and other Christians were rescued from the clutches of death by a group of three lions.

Ciniraj and his group were under attack from Islamic militants when the giant cats attacked and scared the murderous group away.

It is a remarkable story of God’s intervening hand to save his people.

Ciniraj reported that he had been approaching the closing of a 21-day period of fasting and prayer. “As that drew to a close, more than 3,000 former Muslims were baptized in many of our churches in Asia, Africa and the Middle East,” he said.

“The Lord enabled me to baptize many people during this time.”

  25. This is a great story. How has it been fact checked? Did this website speak to the pastor directly? Were other witnesses interviewed?

    • Kevin dont be a doubting thomas there is nothing impossible.
      Have you not read in the scripture maybe you dont know that He made water gush out the river the children of isreal in wilderness after escaping from the Egyptians
      Or have not heard the story on how God used river Jordan to destroy the Egyptians.

    • I think this is a fair question, whether this has been fact checked. If someone wants to share the story in a sermon, for example, it is important to know that the information is reliable. I believe that honors God, like the Bereans who checked to make sure that the apostle Paul’s teaching matched the Bible. The article has a link to the Bibles 4 Mideast website, where it appears the information came from, which says it happened in April 2017. While it doesn’t state the country it happened it, presumably for the protection of the believers, it does state the Pastor’s full name, the name of his church and that he is a director of Bibles 4 Mideast ministry, enough information to make me believe the story is credible. Praise God for His faithfulness!
