Some of you may think I am an important person in Australia, but the fact is, I am just another fallible human being, there’s only one star in our lives and that is Jesus Christ – Bill Hayden

Bill Hayden, the famous Australian politician who made no secret of his atheism has turned to Jesus Christ.
Bill Hayden, the famous Australian Governor-General who made no secret of his atheism has turned to Jesus Christ.

A famous Australian politician and Australia’s second longest-serving governor-general who made no secret of his atheism has converted to Christianity.

Bill Hayden, the famous Australian atheist, recently believed in the existence of God, and has taken steps further to accept the love of Jesus Christ into his heart. He was baptized in the Catholic Church, The Australian reports.

Why I Became A Christian – Famous Atheist Bill Hayden (Video)

Hayden, 85, is Australia’s former Governor-General and was a renowned atheist for all of his life. Typically, as Governor-General, one would also be appointed the Chief Scout of Australia. Hayden declined this office in 1989, declaring that he was an atheist and the Scout Promise, which says, “do my best to do my duty to my God,” was in direct conflict with his beliefs.

Now at 85 years old, this has all changed for the former politician.

In 2014, Hayden was sent to the hospital after having a stroke, and according to The Christian Post, it was this event that ultimately convinced him that God did exist. Hayden said the stroke made it evident that there is “more to life than just me.” He continued, “I had to make a dedication of myself for the good of others, before God. I felt that strongly.”

So, after years of denying God’s existence, Hayden renounced his atheism and joined the Catholic Church. Hayden said witnessing several selfless acts of compassion by Christians over his lifetime coupled with his stroke inspired his decision to come to Christ.

According to The Catholic Leader, Hayden was baptized at St. Mary’s Church near Brisbane, on Sept. 9. He said at the time, “This took too long, and now I am going to be devoted. From this day forward, I’m going to vouch for God.”

  1. Glory be God! But please do not bow down to the images carved by men that are associated with Roman Catholicism. God is a Spirit!

    • Then you should throw away pictures of family friends and loved ones. We don’t adore pictures and statues, we love and honour the Saints in Heaven, who never stopped doing God’s will, even in Heaven. They hear our prayers and intercede with God on our behalf.
If you ask someone to pray for you and expect God to hear their prayers, then how much more will God listen to His Saints who are in Heaven. Don’t forget, Jesus is not Just a Spirit, He is also God.

          • Terrible misinterpretation of scripture. All these were old testament incidents when God was teaching his people about a powerful and forgiving God. When Jesus came and overcame death, and the Holy Spirit was sent to empower the believer, the ritual of the old book became unnecessary. We don’t practice the Hebrew dietary laws any longer, do we? Additionally, this has nothing to do with who intercesses for those of us of faith still on earth. But we know that Jesus now sits at the right hand of the Father, as our intercessor (Heb 12:2). Wonderful to have fellow believers on earth join in your prayers and petitions but I am not sure why or how dead human beings have the power to intercess or would, since they are not all knowing. Do the saints, as deceased humans, hear our prayers? Did canonizaion grant them the ability to be part God? Or do all “saints in Heaven” (sum of all the dead in Christ) have that same ability?

          • James Cox, why do you doubt the power of the Holy Spirit? If He has revealed to the prophets things which would come to pass centuries later, is it not a trivial matter for Him to reveal to the souls of the just made perfect the things which are happening now on Earth? The Book of Revelation declares that the saints in Heaven offer as incense to God the prayers of the faithful on Earth.

        • The story of the Transfiguration where Jesus appears with Moses and Elijah and they speak about the things to come. Those who have gone on before are quite alive and aware of what is happening on Earth. See also the passage in Hebrews where Paul speaks of the faithful of the past as the “Great cloud of witnesses…” watching us run the race of faith here on earth. See also the passage in Revelation where the martyrs in heaven pray for justice for their cause. See also Jesus own refutation of the Sadducees where his says that God is the God of Abrahama, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of the living…

          • They are just witnesses. They Cannot intrude, intercede or change anything. It is appointed onto man once to die and after that, judgment. Not godhood.

          • Also :In Old Testament the Book of Numbers 21:4-9, Moses makes a bronze serpent on a stick to heal the Hebrews’ snake bites, as per God’s instructions.

        • Isn’t quite contradictory when in Exodus 20:4-6 Moses law forbids images…yet in the same book of Exodus 25:18-20 “And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat. And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof. And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.”

          • Moses’ law does not forbid images, it forbids images of false gods being worshipped as gods. Giving reverence or respect to a Blessed image of the New Covenant is logical, as disrespecting an image of Our Lord would be evil.

          • Why would anyone want to read books of the Old Testament? We are a part of the New Covenant in Christ’s Blood John 6:47-70.

      • Exodus 20:4-6 (KJV):
“Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God [am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.”

        • The scripture verse you refer to is directed to the Jews who were making graven images and worshipping them. It is a part of the first commandment, “thou shalt not have false gods before Me”. Since God has revealed Himself in Christ, we can used Blessed images and statues as a visual aid in prayer. These are Blessed images and statues, and should be treated as such. We do not worship the image at all, we only worship Christ. Christ is not a mediator either, He is clearly God Himself in the flesh. Many Protestants confuse this phrase “one mediator” with intercessory prayer, which Paul says is a very good thing in 1 Timothy 1:2-3. Asking a very much alive Saint (Luke 20:38) to pray for you has absolutely NOTHING to do with the “one mediator” of the New Covenant scripture. Saints, as well as people on earth, can lead us to Jesus Christ, who then leads us to God our Father. Romans 8:38-39 says that not even death can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus, and that would include the prayers of saints in heaven. Sacred images, pictures, or representations, even in the house of God, and in the very sanctuary so far from being forbidden, are expressly authorized by the word of God. See Ex. 25. 15, and chap. 38. 7; Num. 21. 8, 9; 1 Chron. or Paralip. 28. 18, 19; 2 Chron. or Paralip. 3. 10.

        • Flora Lee, thank you. God bless you. “I am the truth, the way and the life and no man can come to the Father but by me”.

          • And no man can come to Jesus outside of the Catholic Church, His Body and Bride. The Catholic Church is the pillar and foundation of the Truth 1 Timothy 3:15, Matthew 16:17-19, Matthew 18:17-18, the one and only Way to Christ, Matthew 28:16-20, Matthew 12:30, John 20:21-23, and the only Church that provides salvation for Eternal Life, Ephesians 1:22-23, Ephesians 5:23-25, John 6:47-70, Malachi 1:11. You will have to read these scriptures in the authentic Bible translated from the Latin Vulgate. Link below.

        • Phil, I thought the same verse. No saint has the ability to “hear” our prayer, no saint can be an intermediary, except for Jesus Christ, the only one worthy of hearing our prayers and making intercessory prayers for us to God. In Christ alone!

          • You are wrong, Saints are not dead, that is why they are called Saints. True Christians do not base all their faith on a book they cannot understand, and does not contain all of God’s teachings, instructions, and commands.

          • Then you ought never pray for another person, nor ask anyone else to pray for you, for in doing so, you assert the intercessor’s status as an intermediary. If, however, you see no problem with believers on Earth praying for each other, why would you deny the power of the saints in Heaven to pray for us on Earth?

        • Hey, Eskimo Man, you’re getting into dangerous territory here. Putting our trust in a book we cannot understand? The reason YOU cannot understand the bible is that YOUR Catholic doctrine tells you that only the priests can understand and teach you the bible. WRONG! The holy Spirit is the one who leads us into all truth, NOT your parish priest. The Bible is very clear and concise about EVERYTHING having to do with life and godliness in the present world and much of the world to come and it is a book that a whole lot of people DO understand. Please rather than defending a doctrine that inhibits your Christian growth, seek after God a and know Him for yourself. Time is running out, sir.

          • You cannot understand the Bible, Obi, you don’t even understand the purpose of it, and the reason why the Catholic Church put it together in the first place. Catholic Priests spend 7 years fulltime in Seminaries learning and living the scriptures, the contexts and the traditional messages at the time they were written, and then how to teach the faithful the true deposit of faith using those scriptures. Non Catholics don’t have the Holy Spirit, so saying that the Holy Spirit is teaching you how to understand the scriptures is pure lunacy. The Holy Spirit would lead you to the Catholic faith and the New Covenant in Christ’s Blood. The Bible is not very clear apparently, considering all protestant heretics do not believe in receiving the Body and Blood of Christ in the Eucharist, as a part of the New Covenant in Christ’s Blood. It is funny how you lunatics who only first came around 500 years ago, steal our Catholic book, and then proceed to claim to be able to understand it better than the Church who declared the scriptures inspired by God in the first place, and chose which books and letters would be used in it.

      • Jesus said I am the way not a way. So, God listen to our prayers through his Son not your saints and Mary. She’s as dead as my grandmother.Wake up and know that there is no Catholics or any other man made religions in heaven. The church was born Pentecost speaking in tongues and will be raptured Pentecost speaking in tongues.

        • Tongues are a gift of the Spirit, but not necessarily for everyone. At Pentecost believers were given the gift to talk to all of those in the crowd who spoke other languages. Read Corinthians 13

        • Considering the Catholic Church is from Christ Matthew 16:17-19, has Christ with it till the end of the world Matthew 28:16-20, and has Christ as the Head of His Body the Church Ephesians 1:22, Ephesians 5:23-32, then the Catholic Church is the Way of Christ John 20:21-23 as His Sacramental system of salvation. The Church is the household of God, and the pillar and foundation of the Truth 1 Timothy 3:15, and the Catholic Church also provides the Life of Christ in the Sacred Holy Eucharist John 6:47-70. There is no salvation outside of the Holy Catholic Apostolic Church, and no Christians either. It is you who belongs to a man made false faith.

          • No, the Roman Catholic church did not come from Christ. However, Christianity did. NONE of the Churches planted by the Apostles was a Catholic church. They wore no priestly robes, burnt no incense and adored no Eucharist. And certainly did not bow before statues of Mary or any saint, whatsoever. All these practices began over a century after the first apostles had died out, during the reign of Octavius Caesar, who after a strange conversion experience, decided to make Christianity the state religion of the Roman empire. In a bid to carry everyone along, he skillfully blended the christian doctrine with certain aspects of the Roman pagan religion and that was how Roman Catholicism emerged. This is all historical fact. Oh and Apostle Peter WAS NOT the first Pope. That too is a bold faced lie, designed to give the church an air of authenticity but that is a story for

          • The Roman Catholic church does not at all reflect what the apostles stand for and what the Bible says. Jesus said that “by their fruits you shall know them.” The Roman Catholic church does not show much fruit in being like Jesus. Paul himself said that forbidding to marry is a doctrine of demons (1 Tim. 4:1-3). Celibacy was never a biblical way of separating people for God’s service. The Old Testament priests were even to have sons who will succeed them.

          • 1Timothy 4:1-3 [1] Now the Spirit manifestly saith, that in the last times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to spirits of error, and doctrines of devils, [2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy, and having their conscience seared, [3] Forbidding to marry, to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving by the faithful, and by them that have known the truth.
(NOTE** – [3] “Forbidding to marry, to abstain from meats”: He speaks of the Gnostics, the Marcionites, the Eneratites, the Manicheans, and other ancient heretics, who absolutely condemned marriage, and the use of all kind of meat; because they pretended that all flesh was from an evil principle. Whereas the church of God, so far from condemning marriage, holds it a holy sacrament; and forbids it to none but such as by vow have chosen the better part: and prohibits not the use of any meats whatsoever in proper times and seasons; though she does not judge all kind of diet proper for days of fasting and penance.)

Protestants do not follow or understand the book they claim to base their faith on.

            Celibacy
Matthew 19:12: When the disciples questioned Jesus about not marrying, He said “Some are incapable of marriage, because they were born so; some, because they were made so by others; some, because they have renounced marriage for the sake of the kingdom of heaven.”
Luke 18:29-30 Jesus said to the Apostles “Amen, I say to you, there is no one who has given up house or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God who will not receive an overabundant return…”
1 Corinthians 7: 25-27: Now concerning the unmarried, I have no command of the Lord, but I give my opinion as one who by the Lord’s mercy is trustworthy. I think that in view of the present distress it is well for a person to remain as he is. Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be free. Are you free from a wife? Do not seek marriage.

          • Ignatius was a disciple of John the Apostle, Ignatius called the Church Catholic (Kathlicos) in 97AD, Ignatius said “wherever the Catholic Church is Christ is as well”… That’s no surprise considering the Church is the “Household of God”, and the pillar and foundation of the truth. (1 Timothy 3:15). St John finished writing Revelation in 100AD; at the time the Holy Catholic Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ that he belonged to had its 5th Pope Saint Evaristus, Reigned 98AD to 106AD. The earliest non-Biblical record of Christians worshipping on Sunday is the Didache (70AD). Some also hold that the Council of Jamnia c 85AD, which was a Jewish Council, forbade Christians (Catholics) from worshipping in the synagogue. It is generally held that Christians from the beginning observed Saturday as the Sabbath and also celebrated the Mass on Sunday. Patristic writers attest that from the 2nd century AD Sunday came to replace Saturday as the Catholic Sabbath, the Lord’s day. It is clear and logical that this is the Holy Church of Christianity that Jesus built on the rock of the Papacy Matthew 16:17-19, and promised to remain with until the end of time Matthew 28:16-20 as the head of His Church Ephesians 1:22-23, Ephesians 5:23-33.

On the Authority of the Catholic Church
The Greek root of the term Catholic means “according to the whole” or “universal.” Ignatius uses the term to refer to the visible and authoritative Church:
“See that you all follow the bishop, even as Jesus Christ does the Father, and the presbytery as you would the apostles; and reverence the deacons, as being the institution of God. Let no man do anything connected with the Church without the bishop. Let that be deemed a proper Eucharist, which is administered either by the bishop, or by one to whom he has entrusted it. Wherever the bishop shall appear, there let the multitude of the people also be; even as wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church.” —Letter to the Smyrnaeans, Ch 8

On the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist
The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches that the Eucharist is truly the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ (1374). In his Letter to the Smyrnaeans, Ignatius addresses the issue of those who do not believe as the Church does:
Take note of those who hold heterodox opinions on the grace of Jesus Christ which has come to us, and see how contrary their opinions are to the mind of God… They abstain from the Eucharist and from prayer, because they do not confess that the Eucharist is the Flesh of our Saviour Jesus Christ, Flesh which suffered for our sins and which the Father, in his goodness, raised up again. They who deny the gift of God are perishing in their disputes. —Letter to the Smyrnaeans, Ch 6
Here Ignatius equates the Eucharist to the same flesh of Christ that suffered for our sake on the cross. Jesus also uses this literal comparison when he explained, “I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh” (John 6:51).

        • No salvation outside the Church

Pope Boniface VIII in his Papal Bull Unam Sanctam (A.D. 1302): “We declare, say, define, and pronounce that it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff.”

Pope Eugene IV and the Council of Florence (A.D. 1438 – 1445): “The most Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes, and proclaims that those not living within the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics and schismatics cannot become participants in eternal life, but will depart `into everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels’ (Matt. 25:41), unless before the end of life the same have been added to the flock; and that the unity of the ecclesiastical body is so strong that only to those remaining in it are the sacraments of the Church of benefit for salvation, and do fastings, almsgiving, and other functions of piety and exercises of Christian service produce eternal reward, and that no one, whatever almsgiving he has practiced, even if he has shed blood for the name of Christ, can be saved, unless he has remained in the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church.”

Saint Ambrose (died A.D. 397): “Where Peter is therefore, there is the Church. Where the Church is there is not death but life eternal. …Although many call themselves Christians, they usurp the name and do not have the reward.”

Saint Jerome (died A.D. 420): “As I follow no leader save Christ, so I communicate with none but your blessedness, that is, with the Chair of Peter. For this, I know, is the rock on which the Church is built. …This is the ark of Noah, and he who is not found in it shall perish when the flood prevails.”

Saint Augustine (died A.D. 430): “No man can find salvation except in the Catholic Church. Outside the Catholic Church one can have everything except salvation. One can have honour, one can have the sacraments, one can sing alleluia, one can answer amen, one can have faith in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, and preach it too, but never can one find salvation except in the Catholic Church.”

Pope Innocent III and Lateran Council IV (A.D. 1215): “One indeed is the universal Church of the faithful outside which no one at all is saved…”

St. Athanasius (360 AD): “let us note that the very tradition, teaching, and faith of the Catholic Church from the beginning, which the Lord gave, was preached by the Apostles, and was preserved by the Fathers. On this was the Church founded; and if anyone departs from this, he neither is nor any longer ought to be called a Christian …. “Four Letters to Serapion of Thmius 1, 28. Origen (c. 230 AD) “The teaching of the Church has indeed been handed down through an order of succession from the Apostles, and remains in the Churches even to the present time. That alone is to be believed as the truth which is in no way at variance with ecclesiastical and apostolic tradition.” Fundamental Doctrines 1, preface, 2.

      • Then you should throw away pictures of family friends and loved ones. – Has nothing to do with bowing to idols.

We don’t adore pictures and statues. – Yes you do.

We love and honor the Saints in Heaven, who never stopped doing God’s will, even in Heaven. They hear our prayers and intercede with God on our behalf. – They do not need to pray in heaven. What are they going to ask for? Jesus is the only one who intercedes for us to the Father.

If you ask someone to pray for you and expect God to hear their prayers, then how much more will God listen to His Saints who are in Heaven. – Jesus is the way the truth and the life no one comes to the Father except through Him. Not the saints not any one, not even the pope, (who needs to accept Jesus Christ as Lord by the way.)

Don’t forget, Jesus is not Just a Spirit, He is also God. – Who’s saying Jesus is just a spirit? He is pure God and pure man who’s seated at the right Hand of the Father and interceding for His people, His TRUE people.

You need to read your bible.

        • No one had a camera at that time to have an accurate picture of people then. God is revealed in spirit and does not need the help of images to be able to focus on Him. Since there are cameras at this time, I know how accurate they can be. On the other hand, they can also be inaccurate because of digital editing tools. Knowing a person then is not simply by pictures but by an intimate knowledge of his characteristic.

          • Are you suggesting no one has seen the Lord or Blessed Mary the Mother of God since the time of the Apostles John? God is revealed through the Holy Catholic Apostolic Church, we have the Holy Shroud of Turin and the Divine Mercy picture which are accurate images of Christ. And of course God does not need images of Himself, but images of God, Blessed Mary, and the Saints give us Catholics something to visualize when praying. Also it would be disrespectful not to honour these Blessed images. No one can gain an intimate knowledge of Christ’s character through the Bible alone, and outside of His Body the Church.

      • The Bible tells us that Jesus is the only mediator between God and Man. Paul talks about the priesthood of the believer.
We do not need priests to intercede and we have only to confess in prayer. Statues of saints are not photos of friends and family. They are artists renditions as are pictures of Jesus. I have an artist’s rendition of Jesus in the garden but that picture is simply a beautiful picture that reminds me of Jesus sacrifice, but I don’t light candles to it or pray to it.

        • The Bible can’t talk, the NT scriptures are directed to the Church, Jesus is not a mediator, He is God Himself in the flesh, the scripture you refer to is for the Jews to understand, how would you know if you have an authentic Bible, and the KJV is a Masonic book put together by Masons for Masonic rituals. St Paul is talking about the Catholic lay priesthood of the Church, not those outside the Church who say they believe when they really don’t believe. Apparently you disagree with Jesus Christ who is The High Priest of the Catholic Priesthood.
1 Timothy 4:11-16 [11] These things command and teach. [12] Let no man despise thy youth: but be thou an example of the faithful in word, in conversation, in charity, in faith, in chastity. [13] Till I come, attend unto reading, to exhortation, and to doctrine. [14] Neglect not the grace that is in thee, which was given thee by prophesy, with imposition of the hands of the priesthood. [15] Meditate upon these things, be wholly in these things: that thy profiting may be manifest to all. [16] Take heed to thyself and to doctrine: be earnest in them. For in doing this thou shalt both save thyself and them that hear thee.
(NOTE** – This is clearly about the ordination into the Catholic Priesthood being the fulfilment of the Levitical Priesthood. In the letters to Timothy, St Paul is teaching Timothy all about the Catholic Priesthood in preparation for him to become a Bishop, which means these scriptures should not be interpreted to be directed at the lay individual.)

Hebrews 7:20-25 [20] And inasmuch as it is not without an oath, (for the others indeed were made priests without an oath; [21] But this with an oath, by him that said unto him: The Lord hath sworn, and he will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever.) [22] By so much is Jesus made a surety of a better testament. [23] And the others indeed were made many priests, because by reason of death they were not suffered to continue: [24] But this, for that he continueth for ever, hath an everlasting priesthood, [25] Whereby he is able also to save for ever them that come to God by him; always living to make intercession for us.
(NOTE** – [23] Many priests: The apostle notes this difference between the high priests of the law, and our high priest Jesus Christ; that they being removed by death, made way for their successors; whereas our Lord Jesus is a priest for ever, and hath no successor; but liveth and concurreth for ever with his ministers, the priests of the new testament, in all their functions. Also, that no one Priest of the law, nor all of them together, could offer that absolute sacrifice of everlasting redemption, which our one high Priest Jesus Christ has offered once, and for ever.)
(1 Timothy chapter 5 St Paul gives Timothy lessons concerning widows, and how he is to behave to his clergy.)
1 Timothy 5:16-22 [16] If any of the faithful have widows, let him minister to them, and let not the church be charged: that there may be sufficient for them that are widows indeed. [17] Let the priests that rule well, be esteemed worthy of double honour: especially they who labour in the word and doctrine: [18] For the scripture saith: Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn: and, the labourer is worthy of his reward. [19] Against a priest receive not an accusation, but under two or three witnesses. [20] Them that sin reprove before all: that the rest also may have fear. [21] I charge thee before God, and Christ Jesus, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing by declining to either side. [22] Impose not hands lightly upon any man, neither be partaker of other men’ s sins. Keep thyself chaste.
(NOTE** – This is about the New Testament Priests of the Holy Catholic Church. [22] Notice how St Paul speaks about the laying on of hands that passes the Holy Spirit onto the recipient.)
Acts 14:21-22 [21] Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith: and that through many tribulations we must enter into the kingdom of God. [22] And when they had ordained to them priests in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, in whom they believed.
John 20:21-23 [21] He said therefore to them again: Peace be to you. As the Father hath sent me, I also send you. [22] When he had said this, he breathed on them; and he said to them: Receive ye the Holy Ghost. [23] Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven them; and whose sins you shall retain, they are retained.
(NOTE** – [23] “Whose sins”: See here the commission, stamped by the broad seal of heaven, by virtue of which the pastors of Christ’s church absolve repenting sinners upon their confession.)
2 Corinthians 5:18-20: All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. So we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We beseech you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
Acts 19:18-19: Many also of those who were now believers came, confessing and divulging their practices. And a number of those who practiced magic arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all; and they counted the value of them and found it came to fifty thousand pieces of silver.
James 5:14-15 [14] Is any man sick among you? Let him bring in the priests of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. [15] And the prayer of faith shall save the sick man: and the Lord shall raise him up: and if he be in sins, they shall be forgiven him.
(NOTE** – [14] Let him bring in: See here a plain warrant of scripture for the sacrament of extreme unction, that any controversy against its institution would be against the express words of the sacred text in the plainest terms.)

What you don’t understand about Blessed statues and Blessed images, is that they have been Blessed by a Priest as a sacramental object or image. When Blessed they have God activated in them so to speak, they are to be respected as a Holy image of who they represent, and we use them as visuals, we are not praying to the image, we are praying to whom they represent. Only an idiot would pray directly to a statue or image, and only idiots would accuse us of doing so. Did you know that Jesus and Mary have actually shown themselves in apparitions to the Saints like the Holy Shroud of Turin, the Divine Mercy picture, Our Lady of Guadalupe etc? You protestants seem to be very worldly types, and do not believe in the Supernatural connections we have had with God throughout 2,000 years of the Holy Catholic Apostolic faith.

      • There is only one mediator between us and the Father, and that is Jesus Christ. As Jesus Himself said… no one comes to the Father but me. The saints can’t hear you my friend. They are dead. Also according to the Bible. The dead know nothing. They will be resurrected by Jesus at the second coming.

        • Satan is bound for a thousand years. The souls of the martyr’s reign with Christ in the first resurrection. The last attempts of Satan against the church. The last judgment.
Revelation 20:2-5: [2] And he laid hold on the dragon the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. [3] And he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should no more seduce the nations, till the thousand years be finished. And after that, he must be loosed a little time. [4] And I saw seats; and they sat upon them; and judgment was given unto them; and the souls of them that were beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and who had not adored the beast nor his image, nor received his character on their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. [5] The rest of the dead lived not, till the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
(NOTE** – [2] “Bound him”: The power of Satan has been very much limited by the passion of Christ: for a thousand years; that is, for the whole time of the New Testament; but especially from the time of the destruction of Babylon or pagan Rome, till the new efforts of Gog and Magog against the church, towards the end of the world. During which time the souls of the martyrs and Saints live and reign with Christ in heaven, in the first resurrection, which is that of the soul to the life of glory; as the second resurrection will be that of the body, at the day of the general judgment.)
[6] Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection. In these the second death hath no power; but they shall be priests of God and of Christ; and shall reign with him a thousand years. [7] And when the thousand years shall be finished, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go forth, and seduce the nations, which are over the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, and shall gather them together to battle, the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. [8] And they came upon the breadth of the earth, and encompassed the camp of the saints, and the beloved city.
(NOTE** – The thousand-year reign of Christ is likely to be from the beginning of the Holy Roman Empire in the 6th century, to the antichrist heretic protestant revolution of the occult in the 16th century. [8] The camp of the Saints, and the beloved City has to be the Vatican, which has been encompassed by the antichrist enemies of Christ, the devil’s seed that has enmity with the woman’s seed. The woman being Blessed Mary the Mother of Christ and the Catholic Church, Genesis 3:15, Revelation 12:1-6, 17, and the devil’s seed are those antichrist’s who hate Christ and His Holy Catholic Church.)

      • CuriousI don’t ever remember reading anywhere in the Bible that says the people that go to heaven before us are praying to GOD FOR US. Where inscripture does it say that?

        • Where in scripture does it say that you should reject the Church Luke 10:16, Matthew 18:17, and base all your faith on a book you cannot understand? The Bible doesn’t even mention the Bible. No wonder all the non believers think Christians are a bunch of nutjobs.

      • Can you show me the verse in the Bible that teaches that? Do they take on Godhood and have the powers to listen to thousands or millions of people pray to them and then take each of those requests to God? No, there is one God and one mediator between God and Man, the man Jesus Christ.

        • 1 Timothy 1:2-3 [2] To Timothy, his beloved son in faith. Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father, and from Christ Jesus our Lord. [3] As I desired thee to remain at Ephesus when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some not to teach otherwise,
Luke 20:35-38 [35] But they that shall be accounted worthy of that world, and of the resurrection from the dead, shall neither be married, nor take wives. [36] Neither can they die any more: for they are equal to the angels, and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. [37] Now that the dead rise again, Moses also shewed, at the bush, when he called the Lord, The God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob; [38] For he is not the God of the dead, but of the living: for all live to him.
Romans 8:38-39 [38] For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor might, [39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Judith 8:29-30 [29] Now therefore pray for us, for thou art a holy woman, and one fearing God. [30] And Judith said to them: As you know that what I have been able to say is of God:
1 Timothy 2:1: [1] I desire therefore, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men:
(NOTE** – [1] Saints are one with God in Heaven, they are not dead, so why wouldn’t we be able to ask them for their supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings?)

      • In Christ all Christians are called saints. Never in the Bible does God ask us to pray to saints. We can pray directly to Him as His children.

        • Hebrews 13:7: Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God; consider the outcome of their life, and imitate their faith.
James 5:10: As an example of suffering and patience, brethren, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.
John 17:21-22: so that they may all be one, as you, Father, are in me and I in you, that they also may be in us, that the world may believe that you sent me. And I have given them the glory you gave me, so that they may be one, as we are one.
1 Corinthians 6:17: But he who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with him.
1 Timothy 2:1: First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men
2 Peter 1: 3- 4: His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, that through these you may escape from the corruption that is in the world because of passion, and become partakers of the divine nature.
Luke 16:19-31: (**NOTE- If a man in hell can communicate with the dead Abraham and ask him to intercede for his living brothers on earth, how much more can we the living communicate with Abraham and the entire Communion of Saints and ask them to intercede for us !)
          Revelation 5:8: And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints;
          Revelation 8:3: And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer; and he was given much incense to mingle with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar before the throne;

        • Such a simple observation from the Epistles, usually found in the first chapter of each. Interesting it is to find is that all we who are Saved in Christ are entitled, “Saints”. Only in James are we referred to as Sinners, only when we are involved. Certainly in 1 John we are acknowledged to deal with our propensity to Sin, but will immediately repent of it. But our Title is Saints, not Sinners! For in Salvation we changed Titles! I Was a Sinner Saved by Grace. Now, I am a Saint Preserved by Grace

          • No one is saved until after they die, you cannot assume the scriptures are talking to anyone that reads them, and the NT scriptures were written by the Apostles who were the first Catholics, directed to those Catholic faithful of the times they were written in. To be a saint while still living, you need to be a Catholic who is living in a state of Grace. To be a Canonised Saint is to be martyred in Christ, or have already made reparation for all your sins by suffering in this world, and going straight to Heaven without the suffering of Purgatory. We are all sinners who have a sinful nature, and we are born into original sin. You are clearly a sinner who has not received forgiveness for your sins, saying you were saved by Grace does not forgive you, or save you. Who is Grace anyway? LOL The only way to receive forgiveness and absolution of your sins, is to confess to one of Christ’s Catholic ministers who stand in for Christ, John 20:21-23.

      • I was a Catholic who had an uncle who was a Bishop, and several aunts who took vows to be Nuns ( sisters of Notre Dame) I needless to say had a front-row seat to Catholicism. I had several questions about what was Taught & what the Bible says.
        1- Mortal & menial Sins
Bible tells us only one sin is unforgivable in Genesis & that would be blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
2- Confession to be forgiven the priest will intercede. We don’t need to have someone to intercede JESUS already did that.
3-The Pope is just a man not to be bowed down to, who feels things can be changed on a whim
4-Baby Baptism to save its soul if they pass- we are told to come as little children they are innocent till they are aware and are able to CHOOSE good or bad after all we were given the ability to choose.
5-I have witnessed last rights be refused due to tithing.
Plus much more we have become sheep to the “leaders” we just listen and follow. But God is our Shepard his word is the same as it was in the beginning and will be to the end. Men are fallible their actions are not always to lift Jesus & his word up but become more self-serving. Organized Religions need to be entered into with a prayer of discernment it’s okay to question & challenge. May we all look up to our Heavenly Father who will never lead us astray.

    • These images according to Catholic teaching are no more than images to remind us of whom they represent. We do not bow to adore statues or pay homage to any man made object except for the consecrated bread and wine and real transubstantiation into the body and blood of Christ. Priests were handed down and given this power beginning with our first Christ anointed one, Peter, our first Pope. This power was given to Christ’s apostles the time of the Last Supper. “This IS may body. This IS my blood . . ..”

Many miracles have happened over the ages which came to validate ever more this actual and real transubstantiation. The miracle of Lanciano is one validated incident. http://www.therealpresence.org/eucharst/mir/lanciano.html

      • Sorry Mary, as a former Catholic and altar boy I have to disagree with you. Whenever there is a debate there needs to be facts. What you have said is what many of us has learned as children however we were wrong. The Bible says to believe and then be baptized and it is not something for babies. Babies go to heaven. Baptism is an outward sign of an inward experience. Babies don’t have that. That is one discrepancy. Another is Mary worship. Mary is referred to in the Bible only a few times and each time it is as a servant and never to be worshipped. The Catholic Church has the same setup as they did when the Pagans overwhelmed the Church during King Constantine’s reign. Believe the Bible. It is the word of God.

        • You truly do not understand the Catholic faith. Many people have been raised Catholic, but they never bothered to find out what the church teaches. Or they joined a ‘fun’ church where they are lied to about the Catholic faith and because they don’t know anything to begin with they swallow it hook line and sinker. For hundreds of years people have argued about how the Bible is translated. Why are there so many Protestant churches then? I suggest you check this out. https://chnetwork.org/story/crossing-tiber-conversion-story-steve-ray/
I also think instead of trolling hate and untruths, go save those who are really not saved by our lord Jesus Christ.

          • It is high time that the catholic leadership should explain to the followers what their faith means supported by facts from the scripture otherwise they will continue to keep ignorant people in the name of followers who do things because a priest has said. One has to understand at personal level the meaning of Christianity. I grew up there until I discovered for myself what it means to be Christian. Be a christian, do not be a catholic or seventh day or joyce mier ministries etc . Be a Christian.

          • The only way to truly understand something is to also study its critics. This includes Christianity and Catholicism. While that is not something recommended by priests, I suggest you start with a book that is an easy read “Babylon Mystery Religion: Ancient and Modern” (by Ralph Woodrow). It has been around for decades and will tell you more about the origins of your religion than you have ever been told. It regularly references a source with which you will easily agree: The Catholic Encyclopedia. You owe it to your faith walk to read this book. You want to know why you vernerate Mary? This book tells you this and much, much more.

          • No, I do understand the Catholic Church, It has nothing to do with how the Bible is translated, if you ever read a Catholic translation it shows how false your church is.

          • ASHAN ASIK
The Catholic leadership has been infiltrated by the enemies of the Catholic Church and Jesus Christ, scripture has always supported Catholic teachings, but Catholics have to go back to dogma from dogmatic councils, scripture does not explain itself and can NEVER be used as a foundation for the true faith. The protestant reformation was really a revolution, and creation of a new antichrist worldly heretical religion. The Vatican II council was the real protestant “reformation” of the Catholic Church being hijacked by Freemasons within. Following what a Catholic Priest teaches has always been the foundations of the true faith since the time of the Apostles, no one has EVER been told to read the scriptures as a guide for their faith, and that is why protestants are not Christian. The Holy Catholic Apostolic Church is the meaning of Christianity, there are no Christians outside of the Catholic Church, and no salvation outside of the Catholic Church, because the Catholic Church is the only “Way” to Christ and the Holy Spirit through our Blessed mother Mary. Being a non Catholic is not being Christian, considering protestantism was created by the antichrist occult to damage the One True Holy Catholic Church of Jesus Christ.

          • James Cox
It was the non Christian critics of the Catholic Church that led me to the Catholic Church, and Christianity is Catholicism. Reading stupid books that connect the Church with mystery Babylon and the whore of Babylon, are complete antichrist rubbish. The whore of Babylon is the Jewish religion, Jerusalem, and Israel, the origins of the Holy Catholic religion is Jesus Christ and the Apostles. The origins of protestantism is the Masonic Jew antichrist occult society of the B’nai B’rith, who also created and controls Freemasonry. We already know why we venerate our Blessed mother Mary, and the Mother of God, it is because she is the woman that will crush the serpents head, the woman that has enmity with the devil, and the woman whose seed has enmity with the devil’s seed, Genesis 3:15, Revelation 12:1-6, 12-17.

        • Dear Rev,
I much appreciate your explanation and I didn’t read “hatefulness, etc” as others have accused you. I was raised in the Baptist denomination, and I often wondered about Catholic worship of Mary and other traditions. Again I appreciate your explanation. I am sure that each denomination has in some way misinterpreted some of the scripture and one day we will find out. I have been saved by my Lord and baptized. My relationship with the Lord is between He and I and I am not concerned about all the rules of every denomination. Fact is I am a sinner, as we all are, and all I can do is ask for forgiveness for my failures. Even in the same church, there are various of the same scripture, so I just trust my own heart and relationship with the Lord, hoping that I’ll be forgiven where I have misunderstood.

          • I would say your view of being a Christian is what I identify with! To argue about it is silly. We will all confess that Jesus is Lord! Every knee will bow to Him! I don’t attend Church right now, seems redundant and felt unfit to serve. We went as a family for 20 plus years with the children, when they left home my husband quit going; I didn’t like going alone! Grew tired of hearing the pastor (who has been there fort years or so) his opinion and do and do nots. Do you think God cares if I eat my steak rare or not? My hands a a woman of 65 look like they have worked a lot harder than His of 80. Which I know his work was shepherding. I always felt like my past was shading my ability to be trusted. I was so delivered from being blind and am so grateful to God for setting me free. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. We do not need another Jesus to set us free. We are cleansed from all unrighteousness the moment we ask for forgiveness from Him. I know I cannot judge all churches the same, but I also wonder how God sees the church today. Some of these pastors are not correct, and they will be held responsible for misleading. Till then I read a lot, spend time in prayer to God, working and trying to stay a float with the many battles of just being white and confusion of transgender caused by Satan himself. We need each other, to battle his deeds. But I feel unimportant and opinionated to try and correct some of these outlandish fools!now I must feel like Jesus felt! Thank God for Jesus! Thank God for the adults in the room. I just need to find the right room to reload at times!

          • There are no denominations in Christianity, just the One Holy Catholic Apostolic Church as the Body of Christ. Anything else is an invention of man. Catholics do not worship Blessed Mary the Mother of God, never have, and never will. The Sacred Traditions of the Catholic Church are Apostolic, and a major part of the deposit of faith. You have not been saved by our Lord, no one is saved until after they die, and there is no salvation outside of the Catholic Church without Christ. Christianity is not a relationship; it is a Covenant in Christ’s Blood with rules, boundaries, and rituals. The only way to gain forgiveness for your failures is in the Sacrament of Reconciliation by confessing your sins to Christ through a Priest, repenting, making reparation, and the Priest in the person of Christ absolving you John 20:21-23.

          • There are no denominations in true Christianity, only in antichrist anti-Catholic heretical protestantism cults are there denominations. Catholics do not worship Blessed Mary the Mother of God, we are her seed that has enmity with the seed of the devil, Genesis 3:15. And Sacred Apostolic Tradition is what the true faith is founded on, the Bible was not created and canonised until the end of the 4th century, and was not freely available until after the 16th century. No one is saved until after they die, how do you get forgiven for your failures, why would you trust your own heart over Christ and His Holy Catholic Church? You can’t have a relationship with the Lord outside of the Catholic Church, and the New Covenant in Christ’s Blood. “When we think about religion, we should try to keep the marriage analogy in mind because the kind of relationship that we have with our spouse, a covenant, is the same kind of relationship we have with Christ. Jesus explicitly says just that, “this is the blood of the New Covenant…” as with every covenant, the New Covenant includes rules, boundaries, and rituals. Practicing these rituals and maintaining these rules are what make for a healthy religion by which we are bound to Christ as the Bridegroom. Which is why Jesus later says, “if you love me, obey my commandments” (John 14:15)”
We need to shatter this vacuous platitude about Christianity being a “relationship” not a religion, and that it is some sort of personal relationship between you and Him. If you are not concerned about the rules of the one true religion and Covenant with God, you have nothing.

        • Sorry John, but ex Catholics are the worst Catholics there are, and the reason being that you never knew the fullness of the Catholic faith, which should be taught by your parents, and then continued on with yourself when mature. You do not have any facts, you were wrong to leave the One True Faith, the Bible doesn’t say anything to you, and it certainly does not conform Baptism to those who believe only. All babies do not go to Heaven, Baptism is being born again of the spirit through water and the Blessings attached to it, it is not an outward sign of an inward experience. Confirmation is what strengthens us with the Holy Spirit to go and spread the Gospel through actions and words.
Acts 8:14-17: [14] Now when the apostles, who were in Jerusalem, had heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John. [15] Who, when they were come, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost. [16] For he was not as yet come upon any of them; but they were only baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. [17] Then they laid their hands upon them, and they received the Holy Ghost. [18] And when Simon saw, that by the imposition of the hands of the apostles, the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, [19] Saying: Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I shall lay my hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. But Peter said to him: [20] Keep thy money to thyself, to perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.
(NOTE** – [17] “They laid their hands upon them”: The apostles administered the sacrament of confirmation, by imposition of hands, and prayer; and the faithful thereby received the Holy Ghost. Not but they had received the grace of the Holy Ghost at their baptism: yet not that plenitude of grace and those spiritual gifts which they afterwards received from bishops in the sacrament of confirmation, which strengthened them to profess their faith publicly.)
Catholics do not worship Blessed Mary the Mother of God, and our mother too. Blessed Mary is mentioned in the first book of the Bible as the woman, Genesis 3:15, and the last book of the Bible several times, Revelation 12:1-6, 13-17, Revelation 11:19, then she is mentioned in the following verses in between, Isaiah 7:14, Luke 1:26-55, Luke 2:25-35, John 2:1-5, John 19:26-28, Psalm 44:10-18, Ecclesiasticus 24:24-28. Of course she is not to be worshipped, but all generations will call her Blessed Luke 1:48, she is the Mother of God and the Spouse of the Holy Spirit Luke 1:41-44. Pagans have never overwhelmed the Church, and certainly not during King Constantine’s reign. Constantine made an Edict in 314AD, protecting Catholics (Christians) from persecution, then he made another Edict in 321, forbidding work on Sundays. When Constantine called the council of Nicaea in 325AD, he did so to sort out the problem with the Aryans, who did not believe in Christ’s Divinity. When that was sorted out, and 312 Bishops and Priests present, Pope Sylvester I took charge and sorted out Church business. You do not believe in the Bible, God’s word is not confined to a book, you do not believe “in” Christ, nor do you follow Him, and you are not Christian.

    • You are very ignorant of Catholicism. You do realize that even Christ had cheribs carved into the Ark of the Covenant in Exodus. You are suppose to be sola scriptura and you don’t even know that. LOL

      • You are all missing the point. Take your theological discussions elsewhere. This news is ocassion to celebrate, not criticize.

        • Yes!!!! His testimony is that he has accepted Christ. Every Protestant I know says that is the requirement for salvation. All this kind of arguments about non-essentials is one of the things that keep sinners from trusting Christ – they can’t see unity among Christians. Titus 3:9 also 2 Tim. 2:23 Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels.

          • There is unity among Christians (Catholics), the disunity among protestants proves they are not Christian (Catholic).

        • Thank You my Brother. You’re the first one to mention the wonderful story of this man who came to Faith in Our Lord Jesus at such an old age. Glory to the Lord!

          • He came to the one and only true faith of the Holy Catholic Apostolic Church, The Body of Christ. There is no salvation outside of Christ’s Church.

    • Lawrence Reeves, your stereotype about one, holy, catholic and apostolic church is tantamount yo slander sgaindt the Church of Jesus Christ. Repent and believe the gospel.
      Jesus loves you!

      • Januarius Gwong
Sorry mate, but the One and ONLY Christian, Holy Catholic Apostolic Church is the Church of Jesus Christ, the Body and Bride of Christ. You do not know what the Gospel is because it is not in the Bible, and you have no idea what the New Covenant is either.

    • Read Isaiah 44, exodus 20 the Ten Commandments, psalm 115 God is jealous and He doesn’t share his glory with carved images .

      • Lizzie Fonseca
The Ten Commandments were written to the Jews in the context of what the Jews of that time were doing. No Commandment is against carved images, statues, and pictures, only those that are worshipped as false gods. Clearly the Catholic Church does not do that.

  2. I would like to read your article, but it’s impossible to do so on a smartphone, with such invasive ads. The X is too small, so I can’t even push on it to close the ad. Even typing this comment is no easy feat, since half the text has become hidden behind the ad. So, I hope I’m not making any typos (thanks autocorrect).

    • I agree. Google Ads took 3/4 of the screen and required multiple clicks to get rid of them. Their smothering presence defeats the purpose of the site to display its message.

    • Unfortunately in all denominations there are people who think they are Christians, including leadership, just because they’ve heard of Jesus, go to church, and/or do good works. Concurrently, even in the most apostate churches, there are believers, albeit maybe only a remnant, but they exist….we know this because in Revelation, whether commending or condemning each one of the seven churches, Christ reveals there are believers in each. Let’s pray Hayden is born again.

      • Yes I agree!! Too many will say Lord Lord and He will say depart I never knew you !! We must be born again…repentance is just the beginning ..baptised in water then you will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost as you wait in prayer ..you will speak in new tongues ..

        • He could be born again but he would not be a true Catholic. Catholic dogma says it is sin ti believe in faith alone and the punishment is excommunication.

          • Baptism is born again. John 3:3-7: [3] Jesus answered, and said to him: Amen, amen I say to thee, unless a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. [4] Nicodemus saith to him: How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb, and be born again? [5] Jesus answered: Amen, amen I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. [6] That which is born of the flesh, is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit, is spirit. [7] Wonder not, that I said to thee, you must be born again.
(NOTE** – [5] Unless a man be born again: By these words our Saviour hath declared the necessity of baptism; and by the word water it is evident that the application of it is necessary with the words. Matt. 28. 19.)
And the fullness of the Holy Spirit is given in the Sacrament of Confirmation.
And the only false system going around is the heretic protestant system of the antichrist occult.

        • Matthew 7:20-25 is referring to protestants who reject Christ in the Holy Catholic Church, and the Sacraments that connect us to Christ and the Holy Spirit.

      • The 7 Churches were all Catholic, they were just in different places, but part of the one true Holy Catholic Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ.

    • I’m protestant but I think it’s against God’s intentions for any of us to criticize any other Christian religion or teachings.

      • Actually my friend that is not correct. Take a look at Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. (KJV) Actually God has a lot to say about other religions, or doctrines that don’t follow His word.
        Robert

        • Robert Smith
Actually my friend you are not correct.
Galatians 1:6-13: [6] I wonder that you are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ, unto another gospel. [7] Which is not another, only there are some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. [8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach a gospel to you besides that which we have preached to you, let him be anathema. [9] As we said before, so now I say again: If any one preach to you a gospel, besides that which you have received, let him be anathema. [10] For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? If I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. [11] For I give you to understand, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. [12] For neither did I receive it of man, nor did I learn it; but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. [13] For you have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews’ religion: how that, beyond measure, I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it.
It is all about preaching from “THE” Church of God, not reading a book and having it explained to you by non-Christian heretics. The KJV is a false Masonic bible created by Masons for their Masonic rituals. The true Gospel comes from the teaching of Sacred Apostolic Tradition of the Catholic Church, not by scripture alone.
Titus 3:10-11: [10] A man that is a heretic, after the first and second admonition, avoid: [11] Knowing that he, that is such an one, is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned by his own judgment.
(NOTE** – [11] “By his own judgment”: Other offenders are judged, and cast out of the church, by the sentence of the pastors of the same church. Heretics, more unhappy, run out of the church of their own accord, and by doing so, give judgment and sentence against their own souls.)
2 Peter 3:16 [16] As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are certain things hard to be understood, which the unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, to their own destruction.
2 Timothy 4:2-4: [2] Preach the word: be instant in season, out of season: reprove, entreat, rebuke in all patience and doctrine. [3] For there shall be a time, when they will not endure sound doctrine; but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears: [4] And will indeed turn away their hearing from the truth, but will be turned unto fables.
1 Corinthians 1:10: [10] Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no schisms among you; but that you be perfect in the same mind, and in the same judgment.
2 Thessalonians 2:10-11: [10] And in all seduction of iniquity to them that perish; because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying: [11] That all may be judged who have not believed the truth, but have consented to iniquity.
(NOTE** – [10] “God shall send”: That is God shall suffer them to be deceived by lying wonders, and false miracles, in punishment of their not entertaining the love of truth.)
Galatians 4:16: [16] Am I then become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
1 Timothy 4:1-2: [1] Now the Spirit manifestly saith, that in the last times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to spirits of error, and doctrines of devils, [2] Speaking lies in hypocrisy, and having their conscience seared,

      • Dick, Are you born again? Most saved people would not refer to themselves as protestant. Also they would not refer to non-Christian Churches as in the faith.

        • Rev are you an idiot. Yes i know you are ordained in some fashion belonging to sone denomibnation but give it a break alter boy/man. Your denomination has nothing on any other period. The denominational demon directed hatered of one another that you religious pukes put out is nauseating to say the lest. No denomination will reside in heaven, no demonic collabaration to disrupt the spiritual church of believers will survive the divine judgment. By the way JJ Wilson, many people would say I am protestant in discussions with a social media that is covering a conversion to a Catholicb elief system. Stop being a fraud about your own denominational biased beliefs. I am sure you have heard or read about the Apostle Paul, beliveing and living the Word is far differant from swalowing Christian denominational Kool Aide. Remember if you can Rev the Apostle wrote : if you belive in your heart the Jesus Died for your sins, rose again, and confess the same with your mouth you will be saved”. That Catholic, protestant, Pentecostal denominational demonic church speak about this denomination is the only one because we have….. The Catholic Church, the Roman Road, Speaking in tongues, less pictures, less crosses, more “spirit, is just this, Spiritual pride over self identity with the “saving denominational preaching to their own choirs garbage” God is love and a spirit, not ever a denomination, God has allowed us pin headed christians to make denominations se we can gather together with like minded people but we use it very similar as the old nation of Israel did as a holier than thou, only we are the real chosen and no one else identify. Such labored and destructive vomit. Then we allow our own “Christian Teaching” to give us the right to hate on each other. Praying for you and hoping you have a truely blessed day in the love of Christ, our Lord and Savior. All praise be to the one God, creator and lover of all. Let us be mindful that our God does not call us to hate one another. May our Brother Bill Hayden find love and support instead of condemnation, as he is drwan closer to our God. May his profession in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, for some of you that’s also a Catholic thing, and may your faith and devoution in the things of God grow daily. May those who seek the Christ raise you up Bill, to the God of Abraham, Jacob, and Issac, and may your Holy Spirit bring you to our hearts and minds to pray for you in love. May we lay aside anger, malice, and discord and pray that the divine love that gave us Christ give Bill Hayden eternal Life in Jesus the Christ.

          • “Rev, you are an idiot”…followed by a long page of blather about love! You RC and Mormon cultists really are a hoot.

The true Christian faith of Jesus Christ is all about the Catholic Church, Priesthood, and Sacraments of the New Covenant in Christ’s Blood.

      • I’m protestant but I think it’s against God’s intentions for any of us to criticize any other Christian religion or teachings.

Jesus criticized other religion. What kind of protestant are you?

      • Protestants are not Christian, only One Faith, Religion, and Holy Catholic Church can be the One that came from Christ 2,000 years ago, Matthew 16:17-19, and have Christ within it till the end of time Matthew 28:16-20.

    • I agree with you 100% the Catholic religion is not Christian The teachings of the Catholic religion are not what Christ taught There may be good people that will see God that are Catholic though but I don’
t think the leaders will even come close to seeing God except for judgement

      • You wouldn’t have any idea what Christ taught if it wasn’t for the Holy Catholic Church you foolish twit. The Bible comes from the Catholic Church, and the Bible follows the Church, not the other way around. Protestants have all but destroyed true Christianity.

        • Wasn’t ALL the apostles Jewish? How was Peter made the first Pope of the Roman Catholic church, when he was Jewish? Also, why was St. Paul made the teacher to the Gentiles since he was Jewish, which meant that anyone not Jewish was a Gentile.

          • Are you suggesting that none of the Jews became Catholic (Christian)? When Jesus renamed Simon “rock”, and then said “upon this rock I will build my Church”, He made Peter the first Pope giving him the Keys to the Kingdom and the power to bind and loosen Matthew 16:17-19, Matthew 18:18. But Simon himself was not the rock, it was the Papacy that has held the Catholic religion true, and as one for nearly 2,000 years. St Paul was not the only teacher to the Gentiles, all the Apostles and their successors taught the Catholic religion and the Gospel also to all who were interested. And there were Jews among them being taught also, it was not just Gentiles.

        • Rev John J Wilson
Do you know what the infallible Magisterium of the Church is, Matthew 16:17-19, Matthew 18:17-18? Do you know what Sacred Apostolic Tradition is, 1 Corinthians 11:2, 2 Thessalonians 2:15, 2 Thessalonians 3:6? Do you know what the Gospel is? 1 Timothy 3:15, Luke 10:16? Do you know what the New Covenant in Christ’s Blood is, John 20:21-23, John 6:47-70, John 21:15-19.
You can’t possibly know or understand the fullness of what these things are because they are not contained in the Bible.
John 21:25: [25] But there are also many other things which Jesus did; which, if they were written every one, the world itself, I think, would not be able to contain the books that should be written.
It is all about the “teaching” of the Church, not the reading of the scriptures.
The Holy Catholic Church is a teaching institution which is the continuation and fulfilment of the Jewish faith. The Jewish Priests taught the scriptures to the faithful in the Temple and Synagogues as the Catholic Church does now.
Exodus 4:12: [12] Go therefore and I will be in thy mouth: and I will teach thee what thou shalt speak.
Leviticus 10:11: [11] And may teach the children of Israel all my ordinances which the Lord hath spoken to them by the hand of Moses.
Deuteronomy 1:15: [15] And I took out of your tribes men wise and honourable, and appointed them rulers, tribunes, and centurions, and officers over fifties, and over tens, who might teach you all things.
Matthew 4:23: [23] And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom: and healing all manner of sickness and every infirmity, among the people.
John 14:26: [26] But the Paraclete, the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring all things to your mind, whatsoever I shall have said to you.
John 16:13: [13] But when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will teach you all truth. For he shall not speak of himself; but what things soever he shall hear, he shall speak; and the things that are to come, he shall shew you.
Matthew 28:19-20: [19] Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. [20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.
Acts 15:35,41: [35] And Paul and Barnabas continued at Antioch, teaching and preaching, with many others, the word of the Lord. [41] And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches, commanding them to keep the precepts of the apostles and the ancients.
Acts 18:11: [11] And he stayed there a year and six months, teaching among them the word of God.
Acts 28:31: [31] Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, without prohibition.
Colossians 1:28: [28] Whom we preach, admonishing every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.
1 Corinthians 4:16-17: [16] Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me, as I also am of Christ. [17] For this cause have I sent to you Timothy, who is my dearest son and faithful in the Lord; who will put you in mind of my ways, which are in Christ Jesus; as I teach everywhere in every church.
1 Corinthians 14:33: [33] For God is not the God of dissension, but of peace: as also I teach in all the churches of the saints.
1 Timothy 4:11-14: [11] These things command and teach.
2 Timothy 2:2: [2] And the things which thou hast heard of me by many witnesses, the same commend to faithful men, who shall be fit to teach others also.
Christ and the Apostles never told anyone to learn their faith from a book or reading scriptures, the Bible is not mentioned in the Bible, so we have to be taught the Gospel and the scriptures to know the word of God.

      • These comments are not “non-essentials”. It is important that professing christians practice only what the Bible teaches.mary-worship,praying to saints, burning of candles, incense, using the rosary-all these are in no way a part of what the new testament child of God should do as part of worship to the Lord God.

        • Debbie
Professing heretics calling themselves Christian cannot understand the Bible, or else they would know it is the Church that “teaches” not the Bible, Matthew 28:16-20. Catholics do not worship Blessed Mary the Mother of God, Spouse of the Holy Spirit, Queen of Heaven and earth, Mediatrix of all Graces, the New Ark of the Covenant, and the Immaculate Conception. Let’s see what the Bible says about Saints and incense.
Matthew 22: 31-32: And as for the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was said to you by God, `I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not God of the dead, but of the living.”
Hebrews 13:7: Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God; consider the outcome of their life, and imitate their faith.
Luke 9:28-31: Now about eight days after these sayings he took with him Peter and John and James, and went up on the mountain to pray. And as he was praying, the appearance of his countenance was altered, and his raiment became dazzling white. And behold, two men talked with him, Moses and Elijah, who appeared in glory and spoke of his departure, which he was to accomplish at Jerusalem.
          Revelation 5:8: And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints;
          Revelation 8:3: And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer; and he was given much incense to mingle with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar before the throne;
I would suggest you have no idea what you are talking about Debbie, if you confine your faith to a book you cannot understand, your faith can NEVER be the one true faith and Church of Jesus Christ.

    • Job Titus,
If you check, you’ll find that the Catholic Church can right state that She has a continuous and unbroken like of succession of Authority from Christ to
St. Peter, St. Linus down to the present Pope, which is historical fact. No other “christian” denomination can come even close to claiming the same. Why? Because each denominations not have Christ as its Author, but rather a person who decided to start a new sect. For example, Martin Luther, who was an Augustinian monk who left the Church and became the father of Protestantism of which all false Christian sect that have branched off from. Do some study before you criticise

      • You’re partly right, you’re describing the harlot and her daughters.

“And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:”

“And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.”

“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

“How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.”

“These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.”

Jesus said that the road is narrow and FEW will find it. The Church(as the Bible teaches) are the believers in Jesus Christ, not any building, or human organization.

May God bless you to see the truth!

        • John
Jihad Scarf is fully right, purple and scarlet were the colours that Jews wore, and being decked with gold and precious stones and pearls can be found in the Old Testament.
The Whore of Babylon is a city, and it is Jerusalem, because of all of the prophets of God that were martyred there, as well as the handing over of their own Messiah to the Romans to be crucified. The beast is the old Roman Empire (Rome was built on 7 Hills. The Vatican is on one hill, Vatican Hill, which is not one of the 7 hills Rome was originally built on), who teamed up with the harlot Jerusalem to crucify Jesus. The beast then destroyed the harlot in 70 AD (Revelation 17:16), with the same generation of people present who heard Jesus prophecy that “Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away before all these things take place”, Mark 13:30. The number 666 is the numeric equivalent of “Caesar Nero”, the emperor at the time John was writing Revelation (all of the Roman emperors claimed to be Gods, and demanded to be worshiped as such). The dragon of Revelation 12 is the devil, and The Woman of Revelation 12 is the Blessed Virgin Mary, who represents both ancient Israel as well as the Holy Catholic Church of Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 1:21: How the faithful city has become a harlot, she that was full of justice! Righteousness lodged in her, but now murderers.
(**NOTE – Here we see way back in Isaiah 1 that Jerusalem was prophesied to be a harlot).
Hosea 4:15: Though you play the harlot, O Israel, let not Judah become guilty. Enter not into Gilgal, nor go up to Bethaven, and swear not, “As the LORD lives.”
Jeremiah 13:27: I have seen your abominations, your adulteries and neighings, your lewd harlotries, on the hills in the field. Woe to you, O Jerusalem! How long will it be before you are made clean?”
Ezekiel 16: 2: “Son of man, make known to Jerusalem her abominations.
Luke 13:34: O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to you! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not!
Revelation 11:7-8: And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends from the bottomless pit will make war upon them and conquer them and kill them, and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which is allegorically called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified.
The Church mentioned in the Bible is the Catholic Church, the Bible is a Catholic book from the Catholic Church, and the Bible doesn’t “teach”, it is the Catholic Church that teaches. The Holy Catholic Apostolic Church is the Body and Bride of Christ, it is not filled with false believers, it is filled with the people of God who follow Christ through the New Covenant in His Blood. Churches are buildings, and whilst the Catholic Church is made up of humans, it is organized by Christ Himself as the Head of the Church. Ephesians 1:22, Ephesians, 5:23-33, Matthew 16:17-19, Matthew 28:16-20, Matthew 18:17-18, Matthew 12:30, 1 Timothy 3:15, Luke 10:16 etc.

May God bless YOU to see the truth!

      • You sound so positive. Prove it. You just have Catholic talking points. What about the Poes that were thrown out or when they had two popes fighting for the throne. Which one of those were part of the sucession?

      • Martin Luther left the catholic church because he found out about the false teachings that the Catholic Leaders are teaching their parishioners. It’s a Historical Fact. You study your church history. The catholic church’s teaching is way too far off than what the apostle Peter originally set out to teach. Read your bible!

        • Have you read Luther’s 95 point theses? It is clear that even Luther did not know what he was complaining about, and Church teaching is infallible, we have the promise of Christ remaining with the Church till the end of time Matthew 28:16-20. Oh, and the Bible follows the Church, not the other way around. The Catholic Church produced the Bible, and declared it the word of God at the councils of Rome, Hippo, and Carthage finally in 397AD. Now they are historical facts, not the garbage that you said.

      • Jihad
Do you think that Peter ever thought of himself as the “pope” of the Catholic church? I hardly think so. That was created as mortals were making up catholic doctrine centuries later. Yes, he was certainly a leader but the rituals and reverancy of the papacy came much later, and often as a result of very evil and power/money hungry “popes”. BTW, the popes were also sometimes the king during certain periods of history, or appointed by the king to further his hunger for acqquiring more land and monies. If you read carefully, it is not a pretty history.

        • James Cox
St Peter would not have thought of himself as Pope of the Catholic Church, but he would have known after Jesus changed his name from Simon to “Rock”, and then said, “upon this rock I will build My Church”, that Jesus had something very important in mind for St Peter. Something along the lines of the role Moses played for the Jews. Then when Jesus made St Peter the shepherd of His flock John 21:15-19, St Peter knew what had to be done.
Acts 15:6-7: [6] And the apostles and ancients assembled to consider of this matter. [7] And when there had been much disputing, Peter, rising up, said to them: Men, brethren, you know, that in former days God made choice among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.
Matthew 10:2-4: [2] And the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, Simon who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, [3] James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, Philip and Bartholomew, Thomas and Matthew the publican, and James the son of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, [4] Simon the Cananean, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
Matthew 16:15-19: [15] Jesus saith to them: But whom do you say that I am? [16] Simon Peter answered and said: Thou art Christ, the Son of the living God. [17] And Jesus answering, said to him: Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona: because flesh and blood hath not revealed it to thee, but my Father who is in heaven. [18] And I say to thee: That thou art Rock; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. [19] And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose upon earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven.
(NOTE** – [18] Jesus spoke Aramaic, when He renamed Simon Bar-Jona Cephas, which means rock, Jesus was literally naming him Rock. Peter is the English translation of rock.)
Luke 22:29-33: [29] And I dispose to you, as my Father hath disposed to me, a kingdom; [30] That you may eat and drink at my table, in my kingdom: and may sit upon thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. [31] And the Lord said: Simon, Simon, behold Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: [32] But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and thou, being once converted, confirm thy brethren. [33] Who said to him: Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.
(NOTE** – [30] The twelve tribes of Israel are now the twelve tribes of the twelve Apostles.)
Luke 24:33-34: [33] And rising up, the same hour, they went back to Jerusalem: and they found the eleven gathered together, and those that were staying with them, [34] Saying: The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.
John 10:16: [16] And other sheep I have, that are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice, and there shall be one fold and one shepherd.
(NOTE** – [16] One-fold = One Church, and one shepherd = one Pope, one Vicar of Christ, or one leader, or one shepherd of Christ’s flock, John 21:15-19.)
John 21:15-19: [15] When therefore they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter: Simon son of John, lovest thou me more than these? He saith to him: Yea, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee. He saith to him: Feed my lambs. [16] He saith to him again: Simon, son of John, lovest thou me? He saith to him: Yea, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee. He saith to him: Feed my lambs. [17] He said to him the third time: Simon, son of John, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved, because he had said to him the third time: Lovest thou me? And he said to him: Lord, thou knowest all things: thou knowest that I love thee. He said to him: Feed my sheep. [18] Amen, amen I say to thee, when thou wast younger, thou didst gird thyself, and didst walk where thou wouldst. But when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and lead thee whither thou wouldst not. [19] And this he said, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had said this, he saith to him: Follow me.
The reverence of the Papacy was certainly there during the time of the Apostles. There were bad Popes in the history of Christ’s Church, even anti-Popes, but none of them ever changed infallible Church teaching. The history of the Catholic Church is spotless, the only negatives are from some of its members, considering the Catholic Church is the largest charity on earth, the largest educator on earth, and the largest medical provider on earth, even creating the idea of the hospital, I would suggest nothing but good fruit has come from the Catholic Church. False history will destroy souls for eternity, don’t believe it.

      • Oh you are so wrong. Christ himself through Paul said that his body consist of many parts one is a foot one is a leg etc… The way you test to see if The particular choice is do they agree with the Holy Bible. 1 do they believe Jesus is God. 2 do they believe Christ died for us. 3 do they believe Jesus rose from the grave on the third day. Catholics believe the main tenants of the bible thereby they are Christians. Do I believe that the Catholic church can say that they were established with Peter or even that they can provide a linage to the Catholic church the answer is no. In fact I don’t believe Peter ever had Children. Also according to Paul the name of the first church was called The Way, Read acts,

        • Ray Quintana
We know the Catholic Church was originally called the Way, and the people of the Way. It is suggested that at the Jewish council of Jamnia 85AD, that the Jews called the people of the Way Christians. Around 97AD the disciple of St John, St Ignatius, started calling the Church Catholic, and from 110AD after his writings were released the Church became known as the Holy Catholic Apostolic Church. Catholic means “Universal All Embracing” the perfect name for God’s One and only Church on earth. To test somebody if they are Christian (Catholic) or not, they have to believe “IN” Christ, the Holy Apostles, and the Holy Catholic Church that continues on from the Apostles. The Bible comes from the Catholic Church, and the Bible follows Church teaching not the other way around. The Bible is used for Church teaching, and can never be read or interpreted privately as a guide for the Christian Catholic faith.

    • There is no salvation outside of the One and ONLY Christian Holy Catholic Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ. If you deny the Church you deny Christ and God the Father who sent Him Luke 10:16. If you refuse to listen to the Church you are the same as the heathen and pagan publican Matthew 18:17. You are either with Christ or against Him, and if you gather not with Him you are scattered Matthew 12:30. Anti-Catholic protestant heretics of the occult are certainly scattered, while the Holy Catholic Church of Jesus Christ remains One Body of Christ, as the Father and Christ are One. The Catholic Church is the household of God, and the pillar and foundation of the truth 1 Timothy 3:15.

    • JOB TITUS I’ll bet you cannot claim that your Church comes from Jesus Christ and the Apostles Matthew 16:17-19, a fact of history. And you are not smart enough to know that the Bible is a Catholic book from the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church spread Christianity all over the world, with Jesus promising to remain with His Church till the end of time Matthew 28:16-20.

  3. I have known Priests and Nuns of the Roman faith who were truly Christian in ever since of the word in faith and New Testament theology and I have known ThD’s and Pastors in the Protestant Churches that were not. The only security that I know is found through immersion in the New Testament for God’s foundations of Truth. Then good traditions may be added that support GOD’s Truth. No problem at all with valid traditions and they can be helpful. Jesus prayed for Christian UNITY in John 17:20-26 may it happen soon so we can all go home. Bill Hayden has taken the first steps in the right direction. Add him to your prayer list that he will grow up quickly at 85. I am 86 and it is difficult to make a new level road out of old hardened ruts. Hope Bill reads this, Be Blessed in your day, Bill. Love in Jesus. There is but one Church of Christ Jesus and all who Love and Obey HIM are members.

    • Wise words Ken Smith. I believe the Body should be trying to unify- to be in One Holy Spirit, One accord. And PRAISE ADONAI Hayden has found the One True Living God- YESHUA/JESUS! Scripture says the Angel are Rejoicing- Amen!

    • I hope you are saved but what you say makes no sense. Are their Christians in the Mormons or Jehovah witness’? They claim to be Christian. Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life and NONE goes to the Father except by me. Catholics try to go through Mary and Saints-

    • I’m sorry, but the Christ that the catholic is presenting is not the same as the Christ that the apostles Paul and Peter presented in the bible. There is only One Way, One Truth, One Life. There were other groups of people in that new testament that claimed they know Christ and do what the real Christians were doing. Praying, casting out demons, etc.. but Jesus said to them I don’t know you!

  4. This post is awesome! Praise be to God that he became Christian and joined the Catholic Church; what a reality to celebrate!

    • The fact that he has joined the catholic cult is not a reason to celebrate but a reason to mourn. Roman catholicism is not christian since this false religion is built on salvation by works and not of grace. This man needs a real work of conversion by the Holy spirit, not a conversion to religion.

      • Protestantism is the fundamentalist extremist cult created by the antichrist occult itself, Catholicism is from Christ and has Christ with it till the end of time Matthew 16:17-19, Matthew 28:16-20. Catholicism is also Christianity itself, the Catholic Church is responsible for the Bible, the word of God, bringing Christ to the world, the New Covenant in Christ’s Blood, and Christian civilisation. It is by the grace of God that one becomes Catholic, lives in a state of grace through the Sacraments of salvation, and good works against our sins that we will be judged on.
We need to shatter this vacuous platitude about Christianity being a “relationship” and not a religion.

Top #6 Reasons Why “Christianity is not a religion, it’s a relationship” is Unbiblical Nonsense

  5. I don’t believe a word of it. Show me a video with him stating all that guff to a camera. Until then, I will just add it to my collection of lies from the RC Church.

      • Thanks, I just saw it. How sad that a man who did so much for this country ended up by following a book that supports slavery, genocide, child murder, child rape, just so he could ‘feel good.’ So sad.

        • Isaiah 5:20 King James Version (KJV)
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

          2 Timothy 3:1-5 ESV
But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.

        • 2 Timothy 4:3 ESV
For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,

          John 8:44 ESV
You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

        • Strange that child rape, Child murder (abortion) genocide ect is something all committed by atheists. You are quiet about that aren’t you?

      • Thanks for sharing that. He never once acknowledge asking Jesus to come into his life and save him. Only that he “felt good”

        • Jesus comes into your life when you become a part of His Body in the Holy Catholic Apostolic Church. The Sacred Holy Eucharist is Christ Himself, receive it and you live in Him while He lives in you John 6:57 (56). Reject it and there is no life within you, and you will not be raised on the last day John 6:54-55 (53-54). If you don’t believe in the Eucharist, you do not believe in Christ, and you have no part in the New Covenant in Christ’s Blood. John 6:47-70.

          • These comments are not “non-essentials”. It is important that professing christians practice only what the Bible teaches.mary-worship,praying to saints, burning of candles, incense, using the rosary-all these are in no way a part of what the new testament child of God should do as part of worship to the Lord God.

          • When Paul became a Christian,I don’t remember him being given a “sacred, holy Eucharist” b4 becoming a member of God’s family.neither can I recall same being done for all who heard Paul preach during his journey’s n in different lands.

Phillip went down to Samaria n proclaimed the gospel to a crowd.many believed n became christians.no mention is made of Phillip serving them a “sacred, holy Eucharist” as necessary for their becoming christians.(see acts 8:4,5,6,12).

Not long after that, same Phillip was led by God’s Holy Spirit to explain scriptures to a man from Ethiopia. When the man,on spotting water, excitedly asked if he could be baptized, the apostle’s response was simple:,”if u believe with all ur heart,u may”. To which the man replied,”I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God” n Phillip prompt proceeded to baptize him.
I don’t find him offering the Ethiopian a “sacred holy Eucharist” first before..

Peter presched to the House of Cornelius n they all got converted to Christianity.even received the baptism of the Holy Spirit there n then with evident of speaking in tongues.again.scriptures r omniously silent on the use of a “sacred holy Eucharist” to bring them into the faith.

See Acts14:1.also acts 16:13-14,the account of the jailer’s conversion is also worth mentioning;acts 17:11-12,34.
Not once is it even remotely hinted that b4 these “believers” joined the christian fold if that time, they first had to take a “sacred, holy Eucharist” first.
But if u r referring to the meal Jesus instituted at the Last Supper, enjoining His followers to partake in remembrance of Him,this meal wasn’t even for those who hadn’t believed. You had to have believed n become a born-agaun child of God first to qualify. Speaking of it’s foreshadow, the Passover meal of ancient Israel,God warned that no stranger was to eat it.see Exodus 12:43. Then strangers were the nations who were not part of God’s covenant with Abraham. Today “strangers” would refer to unbelievers, those who r not part of God’s covenant with the Church thru Christ Jesus.

So, saying, one comes into the kingdom by eating or receiving the “sacred holy eucharist” is kinda unscriptural. What scriptures say is this “for with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness;and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” Rom10:10.
            That’s it. Simple. Straightforward. Easy

  6. A life time of damages, destruction, hate, vilification. God may forgive him, but I’m not that perfect, I refuse to forgive. May he rot in Hell!

  7. Praise God he converted and followed our Lord and savior.

I was disappointed though that Google’s ad would not go away even after many click!!!😒

  8. Near death experiences often have that effect on hard cases as do severe crises such as prison terms, divorces, loss of a loved one, reversals of fortune. I suspect many more repent on their death beds and at the moment the ‘silver cord’ is severed.

  9. My mother was a staunch Atheist. She married my Catholic father and at that time she had to promise to raise us kids in the Catholic faith. I was the eldest of 3 at the time and remember well my mother’s personality. My father’s sister once referred to her as a cheap foul mouth hussey. I remember well.
At age four I would beg my mother to let me go to Sunday school with the rest of the kids in our neighborhood. Buses used to drive all over neighborhoods in the city of San Diego picking up children on Sundays for various christian denominations.
Finally, begging her once again my mother decided she’d attend a Sunday mass to find out what it was all about. The priest during the sermon of the mass spoke of a type of pray, “Contemplative Prayer,” prayer that was even hard for priests and nuns.
At the end of mass she (mother) said to herself, “I can do this!” When she got home she proceeded to lie in bed and still herself while focusing on Christ.
Suddenly, Christ appeared to her. She describe Him wearing a white gown with a red sash about his waist. She said he had something around his head and later came to realize it was His crown of thorns. Hundreds of people were following behind in lines. She said she couldn’t see their faces as their heads were bowed down. All was as if on a cloud. She suddenly jumped out of bed thinking she was dead. Two months later she said Jesus showed her His love.
I remember as if it were yesterday her great change. All the makeup came off her face. Not one curse word was ever to be heard, and she attended daily mass everyday of her life until on her death bed. Naturally, all six of us children sent to Parochial school.
Knowing well my mother’s stubbornness, I’m convinced she was one who had to see in order to believe.

    • That’s an amazing testimony Mary Olkowski. Thank God for the salvation we have in Christ Jesus. Thank God that your mum received this salvation too.

  10. If you believe in any created thing above our creator, that thing becomes an idol that you are worshiping. Let’s take note

  11. Catholic Salvation vs Christian Salvation

Catholics endeavor to receive personal salvation comes by being water baptized as a infant. The RCC teaches if not baptized as an infant and the baby dies that salvation can not be guaranteed.

The the Catholic maintains his salvation throughout their live by partaking of the sacrements of the RRC church.

‘The Bible’ teaches a person is saved when they reach the age of reason and place faith in Jesus, faith he shed his blood, died on a cross to pay their sin debt in full and 3 days later he rose from the dead to impart the gift of eternal life to all who will believe. Supporting scriptures: Eph.1.7, Rom.1.16, 1Cor.15.1-4, 1 Thess.4.14, Eph.1.13.

*Note: *BELIEVETH: Greek: Pisteuo: The Greek word “pisteuo” [believe] is an “action verb. Believe /Faith is God’s *sole requirement* given for us to be justified.

    • James, what is sad is that you are merely picking out bits and pieces to argue that your church and beliefs are the right ones. Everything about Catholicism is rooted in Christ’s words and teachings and the Bible. Everyone can site scripture to support what they believe, they can also use it to spread untruths and hate. Time is better spent on saving those who really need to be saved. I am Catholic, I do not worship Idols and The lord Jesus Christ is my savior.

  12. The Apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians: MAINTAIN THE UNITY OF THE SPIRIT …UNTIL YOU ATTAIN THE UNITY OF THE FAITH..
We are all created different and come from different cultures and backgrounds. To attain unity of the faith will take more than a life time – when we are perfected. BUT we can now have and maintain the UNITY OF THE SPIRIT. it is the Spirit who testifies to our spirit that we are the children of God. All else is external.

  13. It is absolutely disappointing, but not surprising, that so called Christians fill this feed questioning his genuineness- which should be left to God; and questioning his choice of religion instead of being grateful that something in Catholicism drew him to God. As things in other churches have with other people. Reminds me of the Pharisees which Jesus chastised as pretentious and empty of the Spirit. Yet! Y’all here claiming to be filled. Pray for the man’s journey, that’s the Christian thing to do

  14. Well, I think the most important thing is not which Church/religion he joins, but if he truly received Christ Jesus as his Lord and Saviour, if indeed he has put his faith in Jesus Christ. Even if he serves a shrine and his faith is sincerely in Christ Jesus, he is still saved. Besides, Christianity on it’s own is not a religion, but the life of God in man. Christianity is a life which we receive from Christ Jesus and the forgiveness of sin which we have through Him. It’s about relationship with a person, the man Jesus; and we preach Him alone, not that men will join the ‘religion’ of Christianity, but that they would believe in Him and receive salvation from their sin; that men would draw their living from Him.
Why would Jesus Christ come on earth, spend 33years, give His Life on the cross just to give to the world one more religion? No, He didn’t do that, He never would have done it either.
While we may do all the religious activities: singing, dancing, praying, etc., we should always remember that Christianity on its own, is not a religion, however good a religion people say it is.
It is Christ in you; It is Christ alive in you, It is Divinity at work in humanity.

    • Christianity,u say,isn’t just a religion? But “a relationship with a Person…?! Aaaah! our Eskimo friend up there wouldn’t agree with u.

  15. Just so y’all know, this article was shared in an atheist group with several hundred Australians, and so far all anyone knows of this guy was that he was a former politician. His Wikipedia page doesn’t even mention atheism, just a single line about how he was baptized last year. But please, do continue in naming random politicians and minor celebrities as “famous atheists” while y’all argue over the merits of Catholicism and Protestantism! 😂😂😂

    • How did you come by this conclusion “random politicians and minor celebrities”,
Bill Hayden served as the 21st Governor-General of Australia, in office from 1989 to 1996. He had earlier been leader of the Labor Party from 1977 to 1983, as well as serving as a cabinet minister in the Whitlam and Hawke Governments, He was the Chancellor of the Order of Australia and its Principal Companion (AC), is that who you call minor politician?

  16. Catholic or Pentecostal. If they are not against us they are for us. Let the weed grow together with the plants. God moves in mysterious ways

  17. This man was brought to Christianity by God himself why he was on bed in the hospital, it is not right to sit by and judge him for what any of us think is not right.

    • I do not see any hatred here, just stating the facts (what the Bible teaches). If you read the 4 gospels you will see Jesus hated (yes hated) religion. Catholicism is a religion. I was raised Catholic even though my parents went to church once in a while but never spoke about Jesus or read the Bible. I went to Catholic school for 12 years. Lots of abuse (hate towards defensless children); I remember once during religion class the nun said “as long as a person is sincere in what they believe, they will go to heaven. I was not comfortable hearing her say that. Anyway, I am sure the Holy Spirit was drawing me to Him especially knowing I was going to be HIS someday. Praise God!!!!!…… I found out it is all about Jesus Christ,,,,not the Pope (who by the way is just a figure in the CC and whom I would never follow because he is a sinner like the rest of us and need of a Savior ….like the rest of us….. I am born again according to scripture (Jesus speaking to Nicodemus, a Pharisee as stated in the gospel of John). We are to FOLLOW, honor, glorify and obey Jesus, NOT Mary, the pope, religious rules, traditions. And by the way, “saints” means “set apart”. We that believe in the saving work of Jesus Christ who paid in FULL the penalty of our sins are “saints” who are “set apart” (from non-believers). Paul mentions “saints” many times in the New Testament. That’s another Catholic teaching that is totally out of whack. I could write 2 pages on that (look up someone becomes a “saint” according to the Catholic Church. If you think what I am saying is hatred in the post, you have the wrong concept. Look up the word “hate”. People that speak against immorality, abortion (or any type of disobedience/against God’s laws/standards is not hate. We are only expresses our factual viewpoint. We as Christians are to be love always and pray for those to know God’s truth and accept Jesus in order to be made right with God (saints). My heart breaks for any person who is deceived who “THINK” they are right with God and are following a different Jesus. I am not referring to this post / man in the video. Only God knows His heart and what he truly accepts and believes. There are people in non-denominations that call themselves Christians who may also be deceiving themselves. Only God can judge. He is the one who separates the wheat from the chaff as said in one of the gospels (can’t remember which one/s) but I KNOW Jesus” words to his disciples (followers). I know this is long but I pray whoever reads this will look to Jesus and not man or a religion. They don’t save…..Jesus does!! AND as far as works as taught in thousands of religions,,,they are like filthy rags…and how good is good enough anyways. And who are we comparing ourselves to? There is only one to compare ourselves and that is Jesus/God who is perfect. He is our standard. Thank God because we are not perfect, He MADE a way for us to be as white as snow when God looks at us and receives us into a perfect Eternity that has not one blemish. (God cannot look upon even one sin). I pray constantly for those who truly need to KNOW the real Jesus of the Bible, not rules, regulations and traditions. And by the way, that piece of bread that is lifted in the air is NOT the body and blood of Christ. He died ONCE ….It was not a down payment that needs to be “sacrificed” again by “accepting the “holy” Eucharist. Regarding Catholics or any denominations or non-denominations,,,,,,,God knows the heart and who they (not what) they truly worship.

      • The Bible doesn’t teach, the Holy Catholic Apostolic Church does the teaching Matthew 28:16-20, and if you don’t believe in the Eucharist, you don’t believe in Christ and you no longer walk with Him John 6:47-70. There is no salvation outside of the Catholic Church because there is no salvation without Christ, and the Catholic Church is the one and only Body of Christ that Christ built on the rock of the Papacy Matthew 16:17-19.

        • “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
The thief on the cross received salvation by grace through faith (Luke 23:39-43). The man simply reached with a sincere heart for the goodness of God’s help and believed Jesus would give it to Him. Jesus did.
He didn’t take anything in his mouth. Eskimo Man people have given you lots of Scripture from the Bible and you keep not hearing it or reading it. Your words and the Catholic church go against Gods word.

          • Ephesians 2:8-9: [8] For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, for it is the gift of God; [9] Not of works, that no man may glory.
(NOTE** – [9] “Not of works”: as of our own growth, or from ourselves; but as from the grace of God.)
Notice the difference in wording from the Catholic Douay Rheims Bible above, and your protestant fake bible? It does not say you have been saved at all, and the scripture is directed to the Ephesian Catholics, not anyone who reads it. The scriptures state clearly that faith without works is dead.
Matthew 5:16: [16] So let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
John 14:12: [12] Otherwise believe for the very works’ sake. Amen, amen I say to you, he that believeth in me, the works that I do, he also shall do; and greater than these shall he do.
Romans 2:6: [6] Who will render to every man according to his works.
James 2:24-26: [24] Do you see that by works a man is justified; and not by faith only? [25] And in like manner also Rahab the harlot, was not she justified by works, receiving the messengers, and sending them out another way?
[26] For even as the body without the spirit is dead; so also faith without works is dead.
Revelation 20:12-13: [12] And I saw the dead, great and small, standing in the presence of the throne, and the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged by those things which were written in the books, according to their works. [13] And the sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and hell gave up their dead that were in them; and they were judged every one according to their works.
            Matthew 25:41-45, Colossians 1:9-10.
(**NOTE – People will be judged by what they had done, rather than in what they said they believed. “Not everyone who says Lord, Lord, will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my Father”, Matthew 7:21)
The thief on the cross received salvation through Baptism of desire into the Catholic Church, confessing, repenting, and suffering for his sins. The thing is, how can you be forgiven for your sins after Baptism? Confessing to thin air and forgiving yourself will not work, it is clear the good thief on the cross confessed to Christ in person, while we Catholics confess to Christ through His Priesthood, and gain forgiveness and absolution the same way John 20:21-23.
(NOTE** – [43] “In paradise”: That is, in the happy state of rest, joy, and peace everlasting. Christ was pleased, by a special privilege, to reward the faith and confession of the penitent thief, with a full discharge of all his sins, both as to the guilt and punishment; and to introduce him immediately after death into the happy society of the saints, whose limbo, that is, the place of their confinement, was now made a paradise by our Lord’s going thither.)
And Christ clearly instructs us to receive His Body and Blood in the Blessed Eucharist John 6:47-70. I have given you lots of scripture from the Bible which comes from the Catholic Church, and you keep not hearing it or reading it. Your words and your heretic protestant religion of the antichrist occult, clearly goes against Christ and His word. Catholicism/Christianity is not a religion of the book, it is a Covenant in Christ’s Blood, and the Sacraments of the Church.

  18. I am saved by Grace and I love the Lord so much. None can be perfect except our Lord Jesus Christ! Thank you JESUS!!!

  19. If you are convinced to be praying to Mary or any of the Saints such as Paul, Peter, and so on, ask yourself this simple question: Is Mary Omnipresent now? Or Paul, is he Omnipresent? Someone is praying to Mary in Europe, another in Africa, yet another in America, at the same time….and she hears all? Has she become God?

ONLY GOD IS OMNIPRESENT, OMNISCIENT AND OMNIPOTENT.

  20. Blessed Mary is one with God, as all the other Saints are. She is our mother who looks after her children and leads them to Christ, not only that, but she is the New Ark of the Covenant which is the only way to Jesus. All generations will call her Blessed, she is the Mother of God, the Mediatrix of all graces, the spouse of the Holy Spirit, and the woman who crushes the serpents head Genesis 3:15. We are her seed that has enmity with the devil’s seed. A perfect example of how she works is the marriage at Cana.

    • so demanding Jesus to make new wine was how she works? The Bible shows The thief on the cross received salvation by grace through faith (Luke 23:39-43). The man simply reached with a sincere heart for the goodness of God’s help and believed Jesus would give it to Him. Jesus did.

      • Blessed Mary did not demand Jesus to make new wine, that is a stupid comment. But the message we are taught from the Church and the scriptures, is that Jesus is likely to grant our requests when they come from His Blessed Mother. Bearing in mind that she would not request anything that is against God’s will. Also why did the servants at the wedding go to her in the first place? She was regarded very highly by those who knew Blessed Mary. The thief on the cross did not reject Jesus by rejecting His Holy Catholic Church the way you heretic protestants do Luke 10:16, and the thief on the cross became Catholic through the Baptism of desire, confessing, and repenting of his sins. Baptism takes away the punishment of our sins, not to mention the suffering he endured on the cross. And that is why he went straight to Heaven. There is no salvation outside of the Holy Catholic Church, as there is no salvation without Christ, and the Catholic Church (The Body of Christ) is the only place to find Christ.

  21. You believe, or you don’t believe. I believe Jesus is my Savior, the Son of God. To me there is only one God. I worship Him. He fills my soul with happiness and gladness. I am glad I learned about God/Jesus as a small child. I have a strong faith. With out my belief in God/Jesus…I would be nothing. I tell people about God if they don’t know, and tell them about the Bible. If they don’t believe, and do not want to findJesus, Ipray for them, and let them know I am available if they ever want to talk. Salvation is free. We can chose to believe or not. We have free will. But, we will be judged whether we believe or not. Psalms 121.

    • There is no way to salvation outside of the Catholic Church, and without suffering. The Bible is a Catholic book from the Catholic Church, that you cannot understand. To put all your faith in falsehoods is an error that could cost your salvation.
We need to shatter this vacuous platitude about Christianity being a “relationship” and not a religion.

Top #6 Reasons Why “Christianity is not a religion, it’s a relationship” is Unbiblical Nonsense

    • This person came to the one and only true faith. When you say believers, are you referring to those who believe in the true faith and doctrines of the Catholic Church, or to those who believe in falsehoods, false doctrine, and a false Christ?

  22. “You say there is but one way to worship and serve the Great Spirit. If there is but one religion, why do you white people differ so much about it? Why not all agreed, as you can all read the book?”
    – – Sagoyewatha (1750-1830)

    • Of course there is only one way to worship and do God’s will. There is only one religion, and that can only be the One Holy Catholic Apostolic religion that comes from God Himself Matthew 16:17-19, and has God with it till the end of time Matthew 28:16-20. It is the false religion that declares everything is in a book, and that is divided so much they cannot be Christian. Christ gave us a Church not a book.

  23. Well I have read the comments and have viewed every topic there is (just about) and this train has long since derailed…..It really doesn’t matter what WE think….the ground is level at the foot of the cross..and whatever WE think or believe…there is a judgement day when all the world will meet God..and I am rejoicing in that fact…so let’s give thanks for a person that has been saved by the grace of God..Yes we all have an opinion but that won’t matter…..As a nurse I have stood beside the bedside of the dying…I have heard the angels singing….I have been besi is the onede the saint and the sinner….I have seen both sides….God is a merciful God…But folks let’s give thanks today for what we have and who we are and praise God for in the end HE is the on we praise…God bless.

    • Christianity has been derailed ever since the devil created heretic protestantism of the antichrist occult. Yes, it doesn’t matter what you think, only the truth matters, and the Church is the pillar and foundation of the truth 1 Timothy 3:15. Not everyone will meet God on judgement day, and why would you rejoice in the judgement? You have not been saved at all, you do not decide whether or not you are saved, and no one can be saved until after they die. If you keep that attitude you are on the way to hell my friend. You have heard the Angels singing have you? God is merciful to those who are sorry, not those who say they are saved. And praising a false God will get you nowhere, as promoting a false Christ is heresy. Jesus Christ is the Way (Catholic), the Truth (Catholic Church), and the Life (The Eucharist). No salvation outside the Church as there is no salvation without Christ.

  24. Poor old Bill Hayden , deceived by the Roman Catholic Church in his old age and obvious senility into believing his soul is safe with the Roman Pontiff and his apostate organization otherwise known as Mystery Babylon, mother of Harlots and abominations of the earth ( Rev 17:3-6,). Bill Hayden built his life on atheism and then turned to the one organization on earth that is quite compatible with it ie. Roman Catholicism. The Catholic Church is getting pretty desperate when it via Shalom TV ( supposedly a Christian TV station but doesn’t understand the difference between saving faith in the Biblical gospel as opposed to Roman Catholic apostate teaching on this) rakes up old politicians in retirement homes and wheels them out to give a shout out for the Roman Catholic Church. Thumbs down to Shalom TV ( is this a Roman Catholic TV station? I can’t tell) for promoting this and the apostate Roman Catholic Church. Catholics are NOT Christians though individuals may be they will eventually be led out of it by the Holy Spirit leading them into all truth( Come out of her my people that ye be not partakers of her sins Rev18:4). This is the traditional biblical Protestant Christian understanding. Mass marketing by the Roman Catholic Church changes nothing. And the pope who is the ANTICHRIST ( Every one of the Reformers believed, taught and wrote this) and his minions are destined for destruction at the appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ in blazing power and glory to take vengeance on and destroy the enemies of God and Christ. ( Rev 20:9-10)

    • It is the non-Catholics who are not Christians you silly goose. Martin Luther created heretic protestantism of the antichrist occult, and the Catholic Church is from Christ Himself. You are also too stupid to realize that the Bible comes from the Catholic Church, and you are basing all your false faith on a book you cannot understand, not to mention what it is meant to be used for.

(**NOTE – The Whore of Babylon is a city, and it is Jerusalem, because of all of the prophets of God that were martyred there, as well as the handing over of their own Messiah to the Romans to be crucified. The dragon of Revelation 12 is the devil, and The Woman of Revelation 12 is the Blessed Virgin Mary, who represents both ancient Israel as well as the Holy Catholic Church of Jesus Christ.)
1 Kings (1 Samuel): [28] And Samuel said to him: The Lord hath rent the kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to thy neighbour who is better than thee.

  25. Even though protestants are not happy and wondering why would someone renounce athiesm and become Catholic. Most of you will not understand, because this is the work of the Holy Spirit, to convict of sin and convince the unbeliever about yje truth of the gospel of Jesus and His Church.
The Holy Spirit made no mistake for bringing an athiest into the Church of God, the body of Christ.
This former athiest had the power of the world, now he needs Jesus and material being preached in Protestantism. He is done with the darkness of the world and has come into the general assembly, the Church of the first born which is written in heaven and the Spirit of just men make perfect.
    Protestants, deal with it!

  26. Please who made us judge over one another.? How are we able to tell who is saint and who is not? Often we hear stuff like saint this and saint that. Please this totally wrong and very unscriptural.

Only God knows who is in heaven and who is not. Remember God dose not see the way man sees. Hence don’t be surprised if the person (saint) you are asking to pray or intercede on your behalf did not make heaven.

Finally before you argue please find out why it is called Roman Catholic first.

    • Decklan
Who is judging anyone? Only the Catholic Church has the authority and means to Canonise Saints. You have no authority or knowledge of scripture to declare anything totally wrong and very unscriptural. To say that only God knows who is in Heaven or not, clearly shows you have no idea what you are talking about. We do know of many who are in Heaven, but only one who is in hell. One of the ways we know who is in Heaven is by praying to someone for their intercession, when two or more miracles can be proven to be attributed to that person being prayed to, they are Canonised as Saints by the Church. You will find that most Catholics are not stupid enough to pray to someone who is capable of being in hell, because we know that they lived Saintly lives dedicated to God, and suffered much for doing so. The One Holy Catholic Apostolic Church is not, and should not be called Roman anymore. The only reason why it was ever called “Roman” Catholic, was during the one thousand year reign of Christ, the Holy Roman Empire and the Catholic Church were married so to speak, and Christian civilisation (Christendom) lived under Christ’s law, not the law of men.

  27. Bill Hayden – FAMOUS??? Longest Serving Governor???

I am a 10 years younger Australian, than B Hayden, and was involved in Politics in Sydney/Australia and before becoming a Young Liberal, as my Father was involved also.

After reading this Article, I can vaguely remember Hayden was a Governor General (political party Appointment), and that he was a most MEDIOCRE and is a FORGOTTEN person in Australia. Came after Gough Whitlam who is remembered, as he was a sincere and very intelligent man who did have VISION and Leadership qualities, unlike former policeman Hayden. who was part of the downhill slide in Political “Leaders” in Australia, much like the rest of the World with “the appointed candidates by cabals, before an election”. I am NOT of the Labor Political thought as were Whitlam and Hayden.
