Trump’s Cabinet Holds Bible Study Every Week

It has been revealed that many of President Trump’s Cabinet members gather at a weekly session to study the Bible. The weekly Bible study group is led by pastor Ralph Drollinger, founder of Capitol Ministries, who has said that he is committed to “making disciples of Christ in the Capitol.”

Capitol Ministries, a Washington D.C. based ministry seeking to “make disciples of Jesus Christ in the political arena throughout the world” seeks to help members of President Donald Trump’s Cabinet and other politicians in the nation’s capital become more mature Christians through the weekly Bible studies.

Drollinger praised the administration for its power to “change the course of America in ways that are biblical.”

Drollinger, of Capitol Ministries, has also praised now Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who he says “hungers and thirsts for the Scripture,” and who defended himself honorably in the senate confirmation hearings. “I’ve had the distinct honor of teaching him on this subject, and many others,” Drollinger said. “There’s nothing more exciting, when you’re a Bible teacher, to see one of the guys you’re working with—to see him or her articulate something you’ve taught them when they’re under the gun.”

“It’s the best Bible study that I’ve ever taught in my life. They are so teachable. They’re so noble. They’re so learned,” Drollinger told CBN.

Vice President Mike Pence, HUD Secretary Ben Carson, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, Energy Secretary Rick Perry, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, CIA Director Mike Pompeo, nominee for Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue, HHS Secretary Tom Price, and Scott Pruitt, head of the Environmental Protection Agency, have all sponsored the Cabinet Bible study.

Vice President Pence, who is a sponsor of the faith sessions, reportedly joins the group when his schedule allows.

“Mike Pence has uncompromising biblical tenacity and he has a loving tone about him that’s not just a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal,” Drollinger said in part. “And then fourthly, he brings real value to the head of the nation.”

Drollinger, a former NBA player, founded his organization with the intent of spreading the Christian faith to lawmakers across the U.S. He has started similar Bible groups in dozens of state capitols as well as weekly studies in both chambers of Congress.

A weekly Bible study group with Cabinet members, Drollinger said, is likely the first of its kind in almost 100 years.

Trump, who is invited to attend, receives a copy of the scripture teaching each week, according to CBN.

“Since our founding in 1996 our vision has not changed: to evangelize elected officials and lead them toward maturity in Christ. We stay away from politics and concentrate on the hearts of leaders,” the ministry led by former college basketball star Ralph Drollinger notes on its website.

  1. If really those officials gonna put in practice what the bible teaches them according to the laws of our God,then honestly I’m so happy & will be so so glad,l mean forever grateful to God for his intervention. It was really about time for his intervention. May his name be praised for eternity. Also pray,he guides & manifest his authority over those who make the laws.

  2. It’s amazing to know people at high places really trust God enough to seek his guidance whenever they feel they need his loving kindness. Kudos,May his name be praised & glorified for ever.

  3. Well, this is very heartening to read. I am aware that the United States Of America was founded upon Christianity. Her successive presidents had been men mighty in the place of prayer and God had always faithfully shown up for them. From the great Mayflower expeditionist Christopher Columbus whose major motivation and passion was finding a new land, or what he himself called a new world where the then thirteen or so British Colonies could settle and practise their Christian Faith without fear or molestation. And it never came easy. Battles were fought and the inexperienced and ill-equipped army of the yet fledging union disgraced the highly sophisticated and experienced British Army obviously, miraculously. From there on to the miraculous birth of Abraham Lincoln whom God had prepared from the womb to lead USA at a very critical time in their history. It was Lincoln that God actually spoke to and charged him to free all slaves and end slave trade throughout the USA. Then on to George Washington Franklyn Russevelt and on and on. They were all christians who were men mighty in prayer. It was the godly foundation that these men laid that is responsible for the greatness America has attained and sustained since.
But today legislations that are excessively liberal and permissive, and averse to the founding principles of righteousness and godliness, seem to have driven God far from men’s consciousness. A union that declared that they are one nation under God as a national motto. My humble advice is that the Amercan government should quickly launch a programme of teaching her children and youth the details of this their glorious national history. I am this concerned even though I am not an American because I believe that whatever happens to the USA or in the USA has some implication for some of us. So, that Mr Thrump has introduced a weekly Bible study for the members of his cabinet in his office is a very cheery news. And having brought such a wonderful initiative God will surely do more glorious things through him, in JESUS name.
We will continue to pray for him.

  4. Trump became a “born again Christian” sometime during the year before he was elected President. I would hate for most Christians to see the first 20 years of my born again Christian life, and even some of my time after that! Watchman Nee said he would hang a “beginner tag” around the neck of every new Christian for at least 10 years so everyone could be warned to give them plenty of room to make mistakes. Nuff said

  5. If only a courageous Supreme Court will strike down the unconstitutional decisions that justified the separation of religion or selective relgions and state. How this ever passed in beyond me in an age when their was a greater knowledge of American History, (most of which was unconstitutional by the ignorant or agendaed justices of the day) . Clearly for these dishonest judges, they projected their own prejudices on the Founders and the majority of lawmakers for the last two hundred years. Thank God, that he has superceded the blinded forces of the darkness and given us a reprieve in these latter days!

  6. Although half the people in this 2017 article are gone, I wonder how effective the “studies” of the remainder have been. Putting children in cages, cutting SNAP and WICK benefits, religion-based travel restrictions, LGBTQ discrimination, and most of their policy decisions are anything but Christian. As far as Trump being a Christian, that’s truly delusional.
