“Oh, man, I’ve gone through everything. Like, I cling to religion. I grew up with Christianity. Always questioned it, but it worked at times,” he said in a recent interview with GQ magazine.

Brad Pitt was raised by devout parents in the Southern Baptist Church. However, he said he found religion and Christianity “stifling.”

What a dishonest article making out like Pitt has had his come to Jesus moment stringing together various mentions of religion his is life to make it sound like some overwhelming conversion. But hey Christians aren’t known for honesty or ethics.
You were the one that sounds dishonesty here, from the article, where was such implied.

The closest i see is this “After going through so much turmoil and self-reflection, Brad’s heart is turning back to true faith.” and it was not writing “has turned”. Any way, what is the deal, He was even a Christian before .
Chad, you really need to look at your own self before coming off all holier-than-thou. Do you remember the story of the woman who had been caught in adultery, and brought before Jesus? He told the crowd of accusers, “Who of you that is without sin, cast the first stone.” He then knelt down to write something in the ground, then looked up to see that they had all left the area. He then looked at the woman, and asked her, “Woman, where are your accusers?” He then told her to “go and sin no more.”
Chad, Christians aren’t perfect, just believing in Christ Jesus as our savior. He is the one who did the suffering for us, and gives us a path to change and have new life in Him, and the best part, to KNOW that we have a future and a hope, even after we leave here. I thank God that He didn’t call perfect people or none of us would be here. You can believe and ask Jesus to help you to believe and have a new life too.

It doesn’t matter WHO it is who gets saved, I get more excited in fact, for some poor suicidal, homeless man in India who gets saved, than someone who does movies and swanks around. But if Brad truly humbles himself and seeks Jesus with all his heart, he will find Him, Scripture says. May the Lord help him. Amen.

Christians who judge, are a detriment to the faith. It divides us. No man knows another man’s heart, and God’s love reaches people of all economic backgrounds. You don’t have to be poor and unsuccessful to be a follower of Christ. You just have to believe and know that He, our God, His son, are threaded through our lives, as our purpose. Be careful, instead of being an example of good, you can display evil, and be a detriment to the faith. The enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy, and to divide Christians, that will give the enemy victory. Swallow your pride, and love your neighbor. That is what Christ would tell us to do. 🙂
