DAY 10 — THE GOSPEL: THE SOLE AGENT OF PEACE
Date: Saturday, January 10, 2026
Focus Scripture:
“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
— Romans 5:1
You will walk away with:
- A clear understanding that true and lasting peace is found only through the Gospel of Christ.
- The firm assurance of having peace with God—a reconciled relationship—not just a temporary feeling of inner calm.
- Practical freedom from the tyranny of guilt, the bondage of fear, and the agitation of spiritual unrest.
📖 Opening Reflection
Many seek peace through favorable circumstances, stable relationships, or personal achievements. However, the absence of inner turmoil is not the same as being reconciled to God. A quiet heart is not the same as a heart at peace with God.
The Gospel addresses the deepest conflict of all—the broken relationship between God and humanity.
💭 Core Meditation
The Gospel brings peace because it removes the cause of hostility: sin. Through justification by faith, believers are declared righteous, not by works but through Christ.
Peace with God is not emotional tranquility; it is a restored relationship. From this peace flows inner rest and harmony with others.
Without the Gospel, peace is temporary. With the Gospel, peace is permanent.
Jesus Christ is our peace. Through His blood, He reconciled us to God and broke down every wall of separation.
The Gospel does not promise a trouble-free life, but it guarantees peace that survives trouble.
🙏 Prayers
Thank You, Father, for making peace available through Your Son. I rest my heart in what Christ has accomplished, and I depend on Your Spirit to guide my steps each day in the reality of this peace. Amen.
✅ Action Points
- Practice relational peace. Let your reconciled status with God bear fruit by pursuing peace and patience in your relationships.
- Anchor your heart. Secure your sense of peace in the unchanging work of Christ, not in the shifting stability of your circumstances.
