Legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan relayed some of his spiritual insight pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic, asserting that perhaps God might be making people rethink their values.

Comparing the worldwide pandemic to the “plagues of Egypt”, Hulk in a Facebook post on Monday, said “In three short months, just like He did with the plagues of Egypt, God has taken away everything we worship.”

Hogan featured a photo of himself praying up against a wall in unison with a caption of biblical proportions. Recalling the plagues of Egypt, which were designed to humiliate the pagan deities, Hogan said that our modern “gods,” from sports to celebrity to money, have been taken from us by this pandemic.

“In three short months, just like He did with the plagues of Egypt, God has taken away everything we worship,” Hogan began. “God said, ‘you want to worship athletes, I will shut down the stadiums. You want to worship musicians, I will shut down Civic Centers. You want to worship actors, I will shut down theaters. You want to worship money, I will shut down the economy and collapse the stock market. You don’t want to go to church and worship Me, I will make it where you can’t go to church.”

The Hall of Famer told his over 5 million Facebook followers that he believes the COVID-19 crisis is also punishing those who “worship money” and it’s why the economy is collapsing. He said churches are shut down as a way to wake up all of those who don’t want to go to church.

Hogan then quoted scripture: “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Concluding his post, Hogan said that people should take this time of isolation to discover what truly matters.

“Maybe we don’t need a vaccine, maybe we need to take this time of isolation from the distractions of the world and have a personal revival where we focus on the ONLY thing in the world that really matters. Jesus,” his post concluded.

  1. I thank God that so far actions has been taken to defeat this virus
I pray that our leaders in Nigeria will leave shearing money for now and open their eyes and do whats best before the Coronavirus gets worst.

  2. Has God also closed down entertainment in the church? I wonder?
Many have rejected the everlasting covenant I made with Noah. Everywhere I see violence and corruption and greed and the shedding of innocent blood – millions of unborn children who are the work of my hands in this creation and for whose lives I had a purpose on this earth.
Now even the very sign of the covenant which I made with Noah, the rainbow of permanent testimony to my love and faithfulness to keep my word is made a cause of offence to me, a stench in my nostrils, by being taken as the proud symbol of rebellion, of perversion of my created order of male and female.
