Not less than 25 people have been left seriously injured as a bus leased to transport people to a church event crashed in the San Fernando Valley.

The brutal collision which has sent some 25 people to the hospital, took place Sunday afternoon on the 405 Freeway in the North Hills area, according to police report.

“Upon arrival, firefighters found debris strewn across both sides of the freeway, causing an immediate full closure,” the Los Angeles Fire Department said in a statement on the incident.

The bus driver, a woman in her 40s, was initially listed as being in “critical” condition, according to KCBS-TV. Children were also present, but there have been no confirmed reports of serious injuries among them.

“Over 40 total patients were evaluated by firefighters with 25 being transported,”

Pray for all those affected that they would recover quick and reunite with their families again.
