DAY 6 — THE CORE OF THE GOSPEL: THE RESURRECTION
Date: Tuesday, January 6, 2026
Focus Scripture:
“And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.”
— 1 Corinthians 15:14
What You Will Walk Away With
- The settled conviction that the resurrection is the core event of the Gospel.
- A vibrant confidence in the present reality of a living, victorious Christ.
- A fresh assurance that our hope is built on triumph, not tragedy.
📖 Opening Reflection
Many people admire the moral teachings of Jesus and respect His sacrificial death. Yet Christianity does not stand or fall on His teachings alone, nor even on the cross by itself. At the heart of the Gospel stands one decisive event—the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Without the resurrection, Christianity would be reduced to a noble tragedy. With the resurrection, it becomes the power of God for eternal salvation.
Apostle Paul’s statement is severe: no resurrection means empty preaching and imaginary faith, making resurrection the very heart of the Gospel.
The resurrection confirms that Jesus is the GOD He claimed to be. It validates His sacrifice, defeats death, and guarantees new life for eternity for all who believe.
A gospel without resurrection power cannot save, transform, or give hope. But because Christ is risen, believers live with assurance, courage, and eternal hope.
Jesus did not remain in the grave. He rose in power and glory, declaring victory over sin, Satan, and death. The resurrection assures us that our faith is not misplaced and our future is secure. Hallelujah!
We serve a living Savior, and this truth changes everything.
🙏 Prayers
Father, with gratitude for Christ’s victory over death, I ask for deeper faith in His resurrection power. May Your Spirit make the reality of the risen Christ the foundation of my daily life. Amen.
