A 12 year old son of Rev. Dido was yesterday evening, February 20, kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
According to a Fecebook user, Stefanos Fdn, who shared the story, Rev. Dido and his family were in their house at Plateau State Polytechnic, Heipang in Barkin Ladi when three armed men invaded the house and demanded for money. When the family were unable to produce any money, the armed men resorted to the abduction of Rev. Dido’s 12 year old son, Kim. They took the child and rushed out into the nearby bush.
Former President of Berom Youth Moulders-Association, Rwas Choji Dalyop who was at Rev. Dido’s residence at the time of the incident, affirmed the story.
Choji narrated:
“A few minutes after 8:00 pm today, 20/2/19, I received a distress call from Rev. Dido that his residence was invaded by armed Fulani herdsmen. On reaching the scene, i found it was true that his son by name Kim Dido has been abducted by the herders who threatened him with arms”
Choji also said that the authorities have since been briefed on this sad development for necessary intervention.
