Biography Of Chuks Chidube
Evangelist Chuks Chidube is a singer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, marriage counsellor, motivational speaker and author. He hails from Adazi-Enu in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State and he was born in Abakaliki, the present Ebonyi State capital.
He is the mastermind behind the gospel album “DIS KIND GOD” and started the group called PRAISE CHANNEL. In February 2000, he was ordained by Pastor Paul Adefarasin, the Senior Pastor of House On The Rock Churches.
Evangelist Chuks’ style of music is African, laced with modern instrumentation and percussion. He sings in about thirty-eight African languages and has won several awards including an honorary doctorate degree by Jordan Institute, USA. He is the author of the following books; THE MUSIC MINISTER, THE WORKING MARRIAGE and 72 KEYS TO UNLOCK YOUR PROSPERITY.
In 1989, he released his first Gospel Album- TAKE JESUS TO THE WORLD, produced by the legendary Evangelist Tony Onyejekwe, other albums followed until 2009 when he released the sixteenth Album “DIS KIND GOD”. It became an instant hit and is still among the best selling Gospel Albums in different parts of the world. Altogether he has released over twenty Gospel Albums.
He released the singles “IT IS MY TURN” in the USA, “DIEU DE MIRACLE” in Cameroun, “SIYABONGA BABA”which was recorded and released in South Africa. He recently opened the PRAISE CHANNEL recording studios where he released the much awaited Volume 2 of “DIS KIND GOD” both in audio and video.
He has ministered thrice at THE EXPERIENCE Lagos and shared the stage with great gospel artistes like Don Moen, Israel Houghton, Kirk Franklin, Donnie Mclurkin, Fred Hammond, Ron Kenoly, and Mary Mary.
