Planetshakers Music is the contemporary worship music band (praise and worship music) of Planetshakers Church in Melbourne, Australia.

Formed in Adelaide for the first Planetshakers Conference in 1997, the band has a goal to spread contemporary worship music world-wide. They are now based in Melbourne at Planetshakers Church, under the leadership of Senior Pastors Russell and Sam Evans.

With over 30 internationally acclaimed albums, the band tours annually to the US, UK, Europe, South Africa, Asia, South America, Australia and New Zealand and has seen a lot of success having been nominated for multiple Dove Awards.

The 2002 Australian Idol winner Guy Sebastian is a former member of the band, taking both lead and backup vocal parts on the 2002 and 2003 albums and conferences.

In 2008, Michael Guglielmucci, a former bass player in the Planetshakers band, was reported to had fraudulently claimed he was dying of cancer. During this time Guglielmucci received money from supporters who believed his illness was real.

Guglielmucci wrote the “Healer” song for the album “Savior of the World” was released in June 2006. “Healer” is a song of encouragement for believers who were suffering from cancer. Guglielmucci explained his actions as being a result of a long-term pornography addiction.
