Our identity is not in our sexuality; it is in Jesus Christ
Ex-homosexual and ex-transgender men and women from around the United States descended upon the Nation’s Capital last weekend for the Second Annual “Freedom March” where they proclaimed the freedom they’ve found in abandoning homosexual and transgender practices to follow Jesus Christ. About 200 participated this year – a threefold increase over last year.
“Look at this! This is Amazing! They say we don’t exist!” declared author and documentary producer M.J. Nixon, a March co-founder, as many gathered for a group picture.

Former transwoman Jeffrey McCall kicked off the rally on the grounds of the Washington Monument, explaining that nobody here was forced to change: “It was the power of the Holy Spirit and the grace of Jesus Christ that fell on all of us.”
One testimony after another from the racially diverse group of mostly millennials spoke about their personal conversion to Jesus Christ and the freedom they have found from lives dominated by active homosexuality or gender dysphoria.

Faith Is More Powerful Than Government And Nothing Is More Powerful Than God – Trump
Angel Colon, who survived the Pulse Nightclub massacre Orlando, Florida where 49 died, told his harrowing conversion story which began that night three years ago.
“As I lay on the ground shot multiple times – couldn’t move – I said to the Lord, ‘I am not leaving this building dead tonight,’” recounted Colon.

“You promised me I have a purpose in life. You promised my Mom that the baby inside of her womb was special and [You] had a purpose for his life,” he said. “I am not leaving here dead, Lord; I am leaving here alive and when I do, I am going to worship you for the rest of my life.”
Colon has kept his promise to God, traveling the world preaching about the freedom he has found in Jesus Christ.
“That promise was not easy at all, but look at today,” said Colon. “Look at all these overcomers here, celebrating that there is change in Jesus Christ.”
Colon explained that the true meaning of deliverance and freedom is being able to look at temptation in the eye and say, “I don’t want you, I want Jesus.”

“That’s how you know you are free,” he added. “Our identity is not in our sexuality; it is in Jesus Christ.”
“It wasn’t a ‘gay to straight’ thing; It was a ‘lost to saved’ thing.”
A second Pulse Nightclub survivor, Luis Ruiz, said that like many of the people participating in the March the reason why he was there is ultimately because he had a “mother and a father that never compromised the Gospel.”
Why I Left My Gay Life To Follow Jesus – Sarah Sedgwick
“They prayed and prayed and believed not in my situation, but in my destiny, my identity found in Christ Jesus.”
“It wasn’t a ‘gay to straight’ thing,” said Ruiz, “It was a ‘lost to saved’ thing.”
“We were all born into sin, baby,” continued Ruiz. “Even though I might be tempted every day, I choose Jesus.”
“He’s the only man in my life,” he added. “I chose ‘Him’ over ‘him.’”
“I thank God for this Freedom March. I thank God for what he is doing in our nation’s capital. As a combat veteran of 15 years in the United States Army, today I go to war with you guys,” said Ruiz pointing to the crowd.
“This is a new day, baby,” he exclaimed.
After the rally, the group marched around the Washington Monument, across the Constitution Avenue to the Ellipse, and back, chanting, “The Lion of the God of Judah is roaring, he’s roaring, to set the captives free.”

GOD BLESS YA’LL SO VERY HAPPY YOU HAVE TURNED TO JESUS CHRIST BLESS YOU IN YOU NEW LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
People who claim “human rights“ in Christ, don’t get it. The only rights you have as a believer are those God in Christ gives you. Anything above and beyond is vanity and pride. The church is all too willing to promote an agenda which fits the narrative, even if the people doing the promoting are calling on the experiences of the flesh to do it. Sticking your finger in the eye of your neighbor who suffers from what you yourself have claimed freedom is not loving or kind. One might say its it’s an outright sin to do so. One cannot cast out Satan by Satan. This is just another in a long line of examples why the church fails miserably at winning people. As Americans we can march, protest and even celebrate because our constitution gives them the freedom and right to do so. As Christ’s representatives? Yeah, nope.
Like seriously?!!! So,when Jesus told the demon-possessed man he had just delivered to not stay with him,but to go back to his friends and, tell what great things God had done for him,Jesus was being unloving and unkind? According to you,He and the healed man, were about to “stick their fingers into the eyes of their neighbours”.
People testify to God’s power to save and deliver, and their testimony stands as a witness to others going through their kind of situation, that if God could do it for others,He can do it for them as well. It is a testimony against the gay narrative and belief that their unnatural sexual preferences are innate and incontrovertible.
How can you shame sincere and genuine ppl for doing that?
God Himself does encourage such testimonies cos He frequently works through such to reach out to others n convince them that He can help them.
Stop your shaming! It’s despicable!
People who claim “human rights “in Christ, don’t get it. The only rights you have as a believer are those God in Christ gives you. Anything above and beyond is vanity and pride. The church is all too willing to promote an agenda and perceived heroes who fit the narrative, even if the people doing the promoting are calling on the experiences of the flesh to do it. Sticking your finger in the eye of your neighbor who suffers from what you yourself have claimed freedom is not loving or kind. One might say it’s an outright sin to do so; one cannot cast out Satan by Satan. This is just another in a long line of examples why the church fails miserably at winning people. As Americans we can march, protest and even celebrate because our constitution gives us the freedom and right to do so. As Christ’s representatives? Yeah, nope. The Nigerians might think they are doing the church a favor by reporting on this, I don’t think so. All this celebration of pride and sex is separating a believer from their true inheritance.
I completely agree with you. Isn’t it funny that through the years us true believers have been forced to completely surrender our moral code of conduct to lower our standards? We ARE NOT FREE! There are SO many rules and laws now that we have placed our freedom in chains and we didn’t even see it coming! I used to think “love was love.” But it is wrong…I don’t care if men had sex with other men back in Jesus’s day.
I believe you can still love someone, especially if it was your child. But you don’t have to condone it They will have to answer to our God, you won’t. So pray that our young adults convert back to the way things should have been..because He is coming for us sooner then we think! God bless!
To God be the glory.
God always has a ram in a bush. No matter how hard the enemy tries to push his agenda, the Lord easily triumphs through the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony. The beauty of this is that even if one falls into the lies of the devil the power of God, independently seeks and saves them who are lost.
I love this, for it demonstrates hope to many who are in prayer for friends, family, and strangers. God always finds a way. The darker the deception, the brighter the light of deliverance.
