Safely hiding, should I fear,
When the Lord is near?

When the storm clouds fly,
I am hiding in His presence,
‘Neath His watchful eye.

I am in the Rock of Ages-
Should my courage fail?
There is not a dark foreboding
In the fiercest gale.
Safely hiding, I am blest
While I sweetly rest,
Oh, what peace and calm assurance
Now abide within!
I am happy in endurance
Since I’m free from sin.
