Lord, Almighty Father, take my will;
Let Thy righteousness my being fill;
Let Thy Holy Spirit reign within,
Crucifying carnal self and sin.
Savior, Lamb of God, who died for me-
Whispered, ‘Not my will,’ to set me free-
Thou dost lead e’en as Thou seest fit;
Grant me strength to willingly submit.
Holy Spirit, Comforter divine,
All my fleshly sins I now resign;
Move within my being, touch my soul,
Crucify my will, and take control.
Blessed Trinity, I give to Thee
All that I have ever hoped to be;
The pursuit of selfishness I cease,
For in full surrender lieth peace.
