DAY 15 — HOW JESUS PREACHED THE GOSPEL
Date: Thursday, January 15, 2026
Focus Scripture:
“Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”
— Mark 1:14–15
What You Will Walk Away With
- Understanding the nature of Jesus’ Gospel proclamation.
- Clarity on the Kingdom-centered message of Christ.
- Insight into how the Gospel should still be preached today.
📖 Opening Reflection
Jesus did not preach religion, moral reform, or self-improvement. He preached good news—the arrival of God’s Kingdom through Him.
To understand the Gospel fully, we must observe how Jesus Himself preached it.
💭 Core Meditation
Jesus preached the Gospel as an announcement, not an argument. He proclaimed that God’s reign had arrived and called people to respond with repentance (change of belief) and faith.
His Gospel was Christ-centered even before the cross, revealing God’s authority, mercy, and redemptive purpose. Every miracle, parable, and teaching pointed to the Kingdom breaking into human history.
✝️ Christ-Centered Conclusion
Jesus is both the preacher and the message of the Gospel. In Him, God’s Kingdom has come near.
The Gospel today remains the same—an invitation to trust Christ and live under God’s reign.
“On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, ‘Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.'” — John 7:37-38 (NIV)
🙏 Prayers
Thank You, Father, for unveiling Your Kingdom in Christ. Lord Jesus, train my heart to trust and my lips to declare Your good news. Amen.
🗣️ Declare:
I declare I respond to Jesus’ announcement with repentance and faith.
I declare I live under God’s reign as a citizen of His Kingdom.
I declare rivers of living water flow from within me as I believe in Christ.
