Focus Scripture:

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
— Galatians 6:9

What You Will Walk Away With:

  • Spiritual fruit grows gradually and requires patience.
  • We must not grow discouraged when growth is slow or invisible.
  • God is faithful to complete the work He has begun in us.

Opening Reflection

We live in a culture of instant gratification. We want instant results, immediate solutions, and quick fixes. But spiritual fruit does not grow overnight. It takes time, patience, and perseverance.

Paul writes, “Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” The harvest comes in due season—God’s season. Our job is to keep planting, keep watering, and keep trusting.

Core Meditation

The growth of spiritual fruit is a process. Just as a tree grows slowly over years, our character is formed over time. There are no shortcuts to maturity. God is patient with us, and He calls us to be patient with ourselves.

It is easy to become discouraged when we do not see immediate progress. We may struggle with the same sin, fall into the same patterns, or fail to display the fruit we long to see. But God is not finished with us. He is continuing the work He began.

The growth is often invisible. A seed planted in the ground looks dead and unproductive for a long time before it breaks through the soil. Similarly, God is often working deeply in our hearts before we see visible fruit. The growth is happening, even when it is hidden.

We must also remember that fruit grows in different seasons. Some seasons are for pruning, some for watering, some for waiting, and some for harvest. Each season is necessary for the health and fruitfulness of the tree.

The Holy Spirit is faithful. He will not abandon His work in us. He will continue to nurture, prune, and shape us until we bear the fruit He desires. Our role is to remain in Christ, to yield to the Spirit, and to keep doing the right thing even when we do not see immediate results.

The harvest is coming. The day is fixed in God’s calendar. We will reap if we do not give up. And in that day, we will understand the wisdom of God’s timing and the beauty of His work.

Christ-Centered Conclusion

Fruit takes time. Growth is gradual. And God is patient. Do not be discouraged if you have not arrived yet. You are on a journey, and the One who began the work will complete it.

Keep abiding. Keep yielding. Keep growing. The harvest is coming. And when it comes, it will be worth the wait.

Prayer

Father, thank You for Your patience with me. Help me not to grow weary in well doing. Teach me to trust Your process and to wait patiently for the harvest. Continue the work You have begun in me, and let me bear fruit in due season. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I DECLARE

I DECLARE that I will not grow weary. The Holy Spirit is producing fruit in my life in due season. I trust God’s process and wait patiently for the harvest.
