Title: No More Curse

Bible Book: John 1:12 – 13

Memory Verse:  Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree (Galatians 3:13)

Many believe in family/generational curses. Many believe that they go through difficulties because of a curse somewhere in the family, and hanging around their head. They may be true anyway.

But our opening scripture tells us that the day you received Christ Jesus and believed on His name, your family line changed. You became Born Of God. Your physical body and family may not have changed, yes, but your birth certificate was changed in the spirit; your family line was also changed and you became God’s responsibility. So what is hanging around you is the generational blessings of your new and authentic family.

Today, know that no single born again Christian is under any curse, whether of sin or ancestral. The knowledge of this truth will make you free in that which Christ has already set you free from.

The Scriptures rightly declare that “the people are gone into captivity for lack of knowledge.” Remember, not for lack of deliverance or power, but because they do not know what Christ has already accomplished for them.

Confess your deliverance and freedom in Christ today, do not let the physical keep you in bondage anymore, but let the knowledge of who you have become rule your life.

Prayer: Lord thank You for giving birth to me; help me to daily live in the light of what You have accomplished for me in Jesus name, Amen.

Action Point: Confess – I am not under any curse and can not be brought under any because Christ has redeemed me from them all.
