Nigerian Pastors And Their Years In Ministry

This is a list of Church General Overseers in Nigeria and how long they have been in their Church as leaders:

Pastor William Kumuyi, General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry – Over 45 years in ministry. (1973).
Pastor Enouch Adejare Adeboye, of The Redeemed Christian Church of God – Over 38 years in ministry. (In 1981 Pastor Adeboye was appointed General Overseer of RCCG, taking over from Papa Akindayomi)
Bishop Mike Okonkwo of the Redeemed Evangelical Mission – Over 38 years in ministry. (Bishop Mike Okonkwo founded TREM 4th of January, 1981)
Bishop David Oyedepo, Of Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel – Over 38 years in ministry. (Bishop David Oyedepo received a mandate from God through an 18 hour long vision in May 1981 to liberate the world from all oppression of the devil through the preaching of the word of faith.This is the inaugural vision that led to the founding of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, first called Liberation Faith Hour Ministries, in 1981).
Bishop Margaret Benson-Idahosa – Over 36 years in ministry. (Mrs. Margaret was ordained into the ministry on the 24th of May, 1983 and consecrated Bishop on the 5th of April, 1998. She is the Presiding Bishop of Church of God Mission Int’l. Inc and wife of Archbishop Benson Idahosa of blessed memory.
Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor of Word of Life Bible Church – Over 30 years in ministry. (Pastor Ayo started Word of Life Bible Church on November 15, 1987).
Rev. Chris Okotie of the Household of God – Over 30 years in ministry. (Rev. Chris Okotie founded Household of God Church February 1987).
Pastor Tunde Bakare of Latter Rain Assembly – Over 30 years in ministry.
Pastor Sarah Omakwu, Senior Pastor of Family Worship Centre, Abuja – Over 26 years (Pastor Sarah founded Family Worship Centre together with her husband on the 11th of April 1993).
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Believers’ LoveWord International (Christ Embassy) – Over 30 years in ministry. (Pastor Chris was studying at Ambrose Ali University when he started the Believers’ Loveworld Fellowship then known as Youths For Christ (YFC)., By 1989, Chris Oyakhilome established the ministry known as Believers Loveworld inc (BLW)).
Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche, founder and senior pastor, Dunamis International Gospel Center – Over 23 years in ministry. (He founded DIGC in December 1996).
Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo Of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) – Over 30 years in ministry. (Started KICC in 1992 but was a pastor in Foursquare Gospel Church few years earlier).

Apostle Johnson Suleman – Over 25 years in ministry – On June 20, 1994, an encounter with Acts 10:38 of the Holy Bible, was to jump start his actual work in ministry which is still in existence today. Apostle Johnson Suleman is the founder and President of Omega Fire Ministries International, a church which he established in 2004.
Pastor Paul Adefarasin Of House on the Rock – Over 25 years in ministry. (In 1994, Pastor Paul founded the House on the Rock church in his mother’s living room in Lagos)
Pastor Sam Adeyemi of Daystar Christian Centre – Over 25 years in ministry. (Daystar christian center was on November 18, 1995 inaugurated at 4th floor of Eko Chinese hotel on Allen Avenue, Ikeja Lagos.)
Pastor Lazarus Muoka, founder of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement – (Over 25 years in ministry). Pastor Muoka founded the Church on 23 December 2002, but was a pastor for some years in a different Church.

Pastor Abraham Olukunle Akinosun, president of Christ Apostolic Church, (CAC) Worldwide – Over 45 years in ministry. (Pastor A. O. Akinosun has been a pastor with CAC since early 1970’s
Rev. Felix Meduoye, General Overseer and Senior Pastor of Foursquare Gospel Church Nigeria – Over 35 years in ministry.
Rev. Dr. Chidi A. Okoroafor, General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church Nigeria – Over 35 years in ministry. (He started pastoring at eighteen (18) years even before proceeding to the Bible school).
Pastor David Ibiyeomie, founder and senior pastor of Salvation Ministries, with headquarter in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. – Over 22 years in ministry. David Ibiyeomie became a pastor in 1997 after completing his Bible School training at Bishop David Oyedepo‘s Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI).
