Pastor David Ibiyeomie is a Nigerian pastor, televangelist, author, and educationist. He is the founder and senior pastor of Salvation Ministries, with headquarter in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
Early Life and Education
Ibiyeomie was born in Bonny Island, Rivers State, Nigeria on the 21st of October, 1962 to the family of late Chief and Mrs. Apollos Iganibo of Bolo Town in Ogu / Bolo Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria
Nigeria Church Leaders And Years In Ministry
He attended Banham Primay School, Port Harcourt, Rivers State from 1969 to 1974 for his Primary education. He went to Government Comprehensive Secondary School Borikiri, Rivers state between 1974 and 1979 for his secondary education. After then, he was admitted into Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt for a degree course in Micro-biology in 1980.
Ministry
David Ibiyeomie became born again in 1995. After he gave his life to Christ, he discovered the divine calling to become a Pastor and teacher of the Gospel.
In 1995, he attended full time Bible School in the Word of Faith Bible Institute, an arm of David Oyedepo’s Ministries. While in the Bible School, the vision to establish and run Church based ministry became very clear to him.
After completing his Bible School training at Bishop David Oyedepo‘s Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI), Ibiyeomie started a house fellowship with his family in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. He later relocated to Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where he started Salvation Ministries (Glorious Chapel) with 34 persons in attendance, on April 13, 1997, at plot 17 Birabi Street, G. R. A Phase 2 Port Harcourt.

Salvation Ministries
Salvation Ministries started on the 13th of April 1997 at plot 35 Birabi Street GRA 1 Port Harcourt with 34 members: 15 males, 10 females and 9 children in attendance.
Salvation Ministries (Home of Success) church grew exponentially and in a record time that they had to relocate from plot 35 Birabi Street to plot 17 Birabi Street in the same G. R. A., Phase 1, Port Harcourt in 1999.
As of 2019, Salvation Ministries averages over 50,000 attendees every Sunday at its headquarters. The church also has numerous branches all over Nigeria, the United States, and other countries of the world.
Salvation Ministries is building her permanent site at Omuikuga Farm Road, Along Airport Road Opposite Geogal Filling Station Omuodukwu Igwuruta, Port Harcourt
The capacity of the cathedral will place it amongst the largest in the world after completion with the state of the art and hi-tech facilities.
The church holds annual programme, 5 Nights of Glory, every January.
Personal Life
David Ibiyeomie is joyfully married to his beautiful wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Peace Ibiyeomie and they are blessed with a son, David Ibiyeomie.
Awards
David Ibiyeomie was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Divinity on the 15th of May 2004 by the Bradley University of America.
