Trust Not In Riches
Proverbs 11:28
Many have placed their trust in that which they acquire. Many say there is no need to seek God when they have “all the riches” they would ever need.
Today’s Lesson from the Proverbs tells us that “He that trusteth in his riches shall fall”.
Trust not in Riches for Riches can fail and a man of great wealth can be made miserably poor.
Rather, trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding (or riches)1, for He alone is able and capable to give you more riches, to keep them and to shield you from falling.
Food For Thought: Riches may fail, but God can never fail.
