An average person believes there is an enemy somewhere responsible for all negativities and sometimes they are right. People have fought the enemies they know physically, spiritually and by any means possible, but Proverbs 16:7 explains one way the enemy can be dealt with.
As Gods own, you can forget about the enemy by pleasing the Lord.
Pleasing the Lord implies walking in His will and His ways. It means refusing to gratify the selfish desires of the flesh and allowing oneself to be completely led by The Holy Spirit of the Lord.
