Hurricane Harvey made landfall in southeast Texas over the weekend. Now Texas residents in Houston, Galveston, Rockport, Corpus Christi, and other Gulf Coast cities are dealing with the hurricane’s aftermath. Federal aid has been dispatched to Texas, and rescue teams are working around the clock.
Following the devastation caused by this hurricane, Christian leaders have spoken out, and many have called for prayer. Many also linked to articles explaining how people around the country can help victims of the hurricane.
Dan Darling at the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission tweeted an article titled “How to help victims of Hurricane Harvey” which gives four specific ways to help those in need: pray, give, sponsor a crisis response bucket, and prepare.
