Spiritual Outcomes (What You Will Walk Away With)

📖 Opening Reflection

Some view the Old Testament as law, history, or moral lessons disconnected from Christ. Yet Jesus Himself taught that the Old Testament Scriptures existed to testify of Him.

The Gospel was promised long before it was fulfilled.

💭 Core Meditation

The Old Testament contains shadows, covenants, prophecies, and types pointing to Christ. From the promise of the seed in Genesis, to the sacrificial system, to prophetic declarations, the Gospel is woven throughout.

The law reveals humanity’s need; the prophets announce God’s solution. All roads lead to Christ.

Jesus is the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets (entirety of the Old Testament Scripture). The Gospel unites the entire Bible around one redemptive direction.

Reading Scripture Christocentrically (with the lens of Christ) transforms understanding and faith.

🙏 Prayers

Father, thank You for revealing Christ throughout Scripture. Amen.

🗣️ Declare:

I declare I see Christ throughout all Scripture.
I declare the Old Testament reveals God’s redemptive plan for me.
I declare the unity of God’s Word strengthens my faith.
